Wells' questioning to Nora at the end was an incredible scene. Great acting by both of them, especially Cavanaugh (as always). That plot line alone is incredibly intriguing....I hope they don't open the door on that immediately but let it simmer with various pokes by Wells at Nora until the mid-season when he reveals her "master plan".

On a side note...kindly disappointed how disconnected Joe is becoming from the rest. Did he just retire last season and I missed it?

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

      Re: The Flash

I finally watched all of season 4 and caught up on the first few episodes of season 5. I have to say, I felt like I had to force myself to watch the first half of season 4. I don't know what it was, but it just didn't flow like seasons 1 and 2. However, after the Crisis episodes, it picked up a little more and I liked how season 4 ended. I have enjoyed the first few episodes of this season. I like them bringing in Nora and I like the new "villain" this season in Cicada. However, I find it hard to believe that

. I am looking forward to the new season and the new Wells. Its kind of nice having a different Wells every season, brings a new perspective but keeps the same actor in the show. I am hoping The Flash gets back on track like season 1 and 2 and avoids the mediocre seasons of 3 and 4.

Seems like he's at home a lot dealing with Cecille and baby.

Speculation on Joe- not story related.

So he's a father, just not who I thought? I hope it ends up like Adrian Chase. Backstory wasn't as big as people had hoped , but everything about his present character and future plans was the best part.

Caitlin's story is still the one I find most interesting. Don't know what it is, but Caitlin seems better this year.

It's early, and obviously on the Flash the villain has to be OP to provide a real challenge, but as of right now, level of threat aside, I'm not feeling Cicada at all.

Yes, I'm also drawn in by Caitlin's story this year more than I usually am.

I thought I would like Nora at first, but now all the childish whining and boo hooing is getting annoying.

And the constant bring up she's the reason for everything, we get that....and she needs to get over that Iris, b.s.

I mean it's future Iris not current one!

                    Re: The Flash

In regards to the guy who plays Joe, found this information today on TV Line. Looks like the actor will be taking a break for a bit to recover from a back injury.

"My husband and I watch The Flash and we’ve noticed that Jesse L. Martin has been sitting down in all of his scenes. Are we crazy or is he injured? –Rachel

No, you are not crazy but perceptive – though this week we did see Joe leaning in a doorway at the CCPD. I’m hearing that Martin suffered a back injury over the hiatus. In fact, a studio rep confirms for TVLine that the actor will be taking a medical leave from the CW hit, adding: “We wish him a full and speedy recovery and look forward to his return as Detective Joe West.” (It’s unclear at this time exactly when and for how long Joe’s absence will be felt on screen, but sources tell me it will be addressed at some point.)"

Welp, Joe is out this season, probably messed up some of the script with him being hurt.

He looks like he's been sitting awhile, I noticed his face is chunkier.

Shadows not liking the emotional scenes in Flash and you know what, I have to agree... that ruined what was it season 3?

I hope the actor playing Joe gets better. He and Grant had incredible chemistry in S1-S2.

S1 especially. Joe really was father of the decade type of good. Then he just started fading.

Finally saw this weeks episode. The Nora drama is getting old fast. Though it was funny watching her flirting. Iris' best moment was in opening scene. "I'm gonna make you a banana!".

I'm actually liking the Nora-Iris drama. She's a good actress and I can logically get behind the plot that she's angry at not knowing she had similar powers to her father, a man she idolized.

This was the first episode I think that Cisco wasn't in? I find that odd.

Good back and forth between Sherlock Wells and Ralph.
