      Arrow is the best superhero live action tv series ever made and it isn't even close.

          I'm down with this. Smallville was a great series and Arrow in only 1 season is seemingly on track to possibly be even better.

              The last line of that article is interesting.

              Are DC building their Cinematic Universe on the small screen before Justice League?!
              I never considered that. But that would be awesome.

                  I think it would be a smart move. I think if they were to try to make solo films for each character it would take to long before we see a JLA film. Plus you can introduce the other members when JLA does happen.

                                  Yep, Arrow was on point in season 1, no pun intended. I would have watched The Flash anyway, but my expectations for the quality of this show are quite high after what they did with Arrow.

                                              Haven't seen Arrow (yet) but I'm surprised they're going the TV route with a big character in the Flash. I always thought the 2nd-tier heroes are more than apt for TV while the big ones are saved for the movies. Perhaps it'll be the Trinity (Superman/Batman/Wonder Woman) for the movies while most of the rest get TV shows instead.

                                              If this is how they lead up to Justice League, I just wonder if they're keeping the same actors.

                                                  If they got different actors, that would bury a movie to me. "Hey, this guy has played Green Arrow for the past 4 years, but we're going with someone else for the movie".

                                                          One thing I don't get is that I thought they were already on their way to making a Flash film, with David Goyer writing it?

                                                          I wonder if they've scrapped that completely or if that's still on the table.
