Sucks to watch all these though and realize how much the quality declines after. But I haven't seen any of these episodes really since the first time I watched them several years back, so it's fun seeing them again.
Season 1 will always be the best Flash season for me. Season 2 is also up there with Zoom.

Season 3 is where, for me, started to see the decline. The Flashpoint premise would have been good but I feel like with the creation of Savitar and who that actually ends up being, kind of ruined the season for me. I wish Savitar would have been someone else.

I honestly haven't even seen season 7 or 8. It just got to the point of being standard CW drama, that it was hard to watch.

I think with The Flash and also Arrow, had they been short seasons, maybe 10-12 episodes, a lot of that could have been avoided. And if they weren't on the CW.

Funny how flash and arrow s1-4 mirror each other in terms of quality and some major moments.

S4 Arrow and Flash both took major dives. Show hasn't been the same since.

Funny how S4 of Supergirl was one of their best ones though.

And Legends of Tomorrow, despite people hating S1, that was the one season I liked the most from that show.

Yes, Arrow was my all time favorite show until it got to Season 4 with Damien Dhark. I absolutely disliked that season. But the CW did what the CW does and geared it towards teens and filled it with so much drama it would rival a Soap Opera.

Now, I will say, Season 5 of Arrow restored my faith with Prometheus. I was optimistic for future seasons but then was let down with Season 6. I think I watched through the Crisis on Earth X crossover and then just stopped Arrow after that because season 6 was just terrible. I picked it back up with Season 7 and was more intrigued with it than season 6. I watched all of the final season. I wasn't happy with the ending but I understood it I guess. For me with Arrow my season order by favorite is:

        1
        2
        3
        5
        8
        7
        4
        6

For Flash my season order by favorite is basically the sequential order of the seasons. I have watched seasons 1-6. I haven't watch 7 and 8 because I just couldn't really get past the first couple of episodes.

For Legends, I agree with you. Season 1 was my favorite.

For Supergirl, I must admit, I believe I stopped watching it after Season 3. I may have to try it again with Season 4 then.

Like I said, I feel like these shows would have been more successful (outside of the first few seasons that they started) had they come around the days of streaming television and could have been on HBO Max. They would have also benefited from shortened seasons instead of the normal 20-23 episodes.

I love to think how it would've worked if they slow played Flash like Smallville so the reveal of RF was on like S3 or something with a couple seasons of tension before the fight.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Only way that would really work is if they don't even reveal Wells is reverse flash. But then half the series feels like it's just leading to the reveal of who killed Barry's mom, and his dad would just be a character in prison the whole time.

Finishing up my rewatch before I begin this final season.

That S3 ending was so good. It always feels different rewatching a season already knowing what happened, so certain things stand out way more.

This is probably the best/most emotional scene in the whole series (Barry's dad dying was sad too, but that just felt like a sudden death).

Even knowing she didn't actually die, it still feels sad. I wonder how different the series would be if she actually did die right then and there, and then S4 is just about trying to make sure Barry doesn't go down that dark path.

This final season is 3 for 3 in terrible wasted episodes, you would think with it being the final season, this season would have been a lot better.

But now they are basically just tying up loose ends with canceled shows and trying to put their characters into the Flash to make them relevant again...

So far every episode seems like wasted time...

It definitely does seem like wasted episodes.

You have a chance to wrap up the Arrowverse, and will have 13 episodes to do so, but so far nothing about this season feels like a final season.

I'm not even bothering with watching the last season of The Flash. I have been rewatching the first season and, man, it used to be so good. However, even in the first season I can't stand the character of Iris. I feel like out of all the characters in the show, she is my least favorite and the show could have been exponentially better without her.

Did they have a guaranteed contract on batwoman or is this just a tie in for the Flash movie somehow? It's like they just needed to put batwoman on a show and they didn't want to do it on the superman show.

Everyone in the Arrowverse is making a guess appearance in the last 8 episodes it's tragic, they are just going out by mentioning or showing all the other characters.

The Legends will make an appearance, Dreamer from Supergirl will come in a episode and a few more.

In the comics, Red Death is Batman. The CW-verse doesn't have a Batman, so they made the change to Batwoman, who does exist in the universe.

                          That's it.

I feel like it would have made more sense for Red Death to be Oliver Queen and just change the logo to be the arrow logo with a lighting bolt splitting it. He was the reason for the arrowverse in the first place, much like Bruce Wayne was the reason for Death Metal comic run.

I also haven't seen any episodes this season, just highlights because it became too unbearable to watch. So I'm not sure if they stated why she was Red Death in the show.

I'm guessing she was still under contract after the show was canceled, so they wrote her into the Flash. It just feels like they had no ending or a short ending and then added all the other characters from the canceled shows to just fill out contracts or something.

Joe written off the show and Barry/Iris are on some vacation.

So this week's episode was some random Cecile show.

This is the final season of the show? The final episode better be good because this is by far a beyond horrible season and this week might have been the worst episode.
