Big Mark Strong fan, and as of late, AMC can do no wrong.

I've got it DVR'ed. Looking forward to catching it sometime this week.

Kind of a weird first episode. Didn't really explain the story well enough imo.

I agree. I thought the pilot was pretty convoluted and didn't show me anything I am dying to see more of.

Not interested in going forward with this one.

That's where I stand-very promising. Have to give it slack as a setup episode.

LOL, I totally misread 55's quote. Although it had it's failings, it's worth another shot. I'll give it two more episodes.

Didn't do anything for me. Gonna pass. Maybe I'll come back to it if I hear it's getting good reviews in a month or two.

Convoluted is right. ... I had no idea what was going on and who is who... and its not really done on a level that is intriguing either, its like written by someone with ADD or something.

Echo the same thoughts as everyone else. Kept it on because I saw Ziggy Sobotka in the first 10 minutes, but it didn't draw me in.

Still keeping me interested. The actor that played Ziggy (who Sandman mentioned above ^^) plays a ruthless criminal with his eyes on becoming the crime boss of Chicago. His fine girlfriend is equally ruthless (although not fully revealed just yet). There was a really good scene when Damon Callis (ZIGGY) and his #2 went to the black area of town to get permission from the head honcho to operate a cat house in his area. The big man agreed, as long as Callis was taxed.

The first two episodes didn't do it for me, I might check it out later but I think I'll pass for now.

My wife and I kind of liked it. We waited on watching the show for some time, but finally watched he pilot and second episode.

I don't know why anyone thinks the plot is complicated. I thought it was pretty simple. I'm not positive it holds up long term, but for now I like the story.

AMC summed up the plot in less than one minute:

The fact that they had to have someone explain what is going after three episodes is a problem. That was probably the weirdest first episode of a show that I have seen. Didn't really explain anything at all and was awful and at conveying what was going on.

I really love what they've done with Detroit though, the way they made it look like such a wasteland....
