Right now, I can't stop listening to this song that I just heard today. It's strange, because normally I'd never listen to this kind of music:

How is the new Edguy? Same cheesy goodness as always?

For the most part, yes. Though if you didn't like any of the recent Avantasia stuff (Lost in Space Parts 1 and 2 and The Scarecrow) you may not like it. The guitar tones are light and almost "Nintendoey" at times and most of the songs have a "get to the chorus" mentality. It sounds like a logical progression from Rocket Ride, so more hard rock than euro power metal, with a definite 80's flair. Less humor too, with the exception of the bonus track "Aren't You A Little Pervert Too?" I'm not sure where I would place it amongst their catalog at this point, Rocket Ride took some time to grow on me and became one of my favorites (though my favorite Edguy album is probably Mandrake) and I need to give this one some more time. My favorite tracks off the album:

Ministry of Saints - a mid-tempo opener that sounds like the younger brother to Rocket Ride's opener Sacrifice. Very catchy, anthem-like chorus.

Thorn Without a Rose - an 80's sounding power ballad, already one of my favorite Edguy ballads because it comes off as pretty authentic as opposed to cheesey (though I do enjoy some Edguy cheese now and again).

Speedhoven - the closest thing to a power metal track on the album. It actually sounds like a response to those who complain that Edguy isn't metal enough anymore. It's catchy with very good pacing, and the guitar solo 5 minutes or so into the song (after a pause) sounds like it could have been ripped right out of an NES Mega Man game, which delights me for some reason.

Dead or Rock - a good hard rock track, I bet it kicks all kinds of *** live.

Dragonfly - slow tempo, but not a ballad really, that flows really well. It's Edguy's own "Puff the Magic Dragon."

I just saw King's of Leon here in Nashville last week. The show was ridiculous. Great band live.

I keep hearing this song whenever I go to the gym, but I have no idea who it's by or what it's called. Sooo... I'm hoping someone here will be able to tell me what it is with the very limited information I give you.

Ok; its played frequently on Sirius's Alt-Nation station, and the word "Entertainment" is in the beginning line/lines of the chorus. I know its not much info, but maybe somebody listens to Sirius XM a lot? Maybe?
