i just watched all 8 episodes the past 2 days.. LOL.
pretty dang good.. i guess i can be lumped into the ones that were left with wanting more in the finale. but meh, it still was really good.
i love watching shows over a period of a few days. sucks me into it more than just watching weekly.Twitch

He was wearing a fat suit. Not even sure I'd call it a fat suit, more like just a pillow under his shirt. When he was sitting in the office second to last episode (maybe third to last) the pad had shifted up and you could almost see his shirt sag between the pad and his stomach (chest, really, at that point). It looked pretty good most of the time, but that scene it was so obvious that I even commented as we were watching that they should have had him adjust that pad in that scene.Comment

Some season two news from Nic Pizzolatto.
Right now, we’re working with three leads. It takes place in California.Not Los Angeles, but some of the lesser known venues of California and we’re going to try to capture a certain psychosphere ambience of the place, much like we did with season one. The characters are all new, but I am deeply in love with all of them. We have the entire season broken out, and I have a couple of scripts, and we’ll probably start casting within the coming month.Comment

Binge watched this when it was free to view. Amazing ride, I was expecting something else to the end but I can't say I was disappointed; it was called TRUE Detective after all. How creepy cults like that are are what made your mind wander into the paranormal and stuff like that. Reality was scary enough, honestly.
Can't wait for the new stuff. At first, it's hard to disconnect from the guys from this season. They did an amazing job. But I know season 2 is gonna do just as well if not better with different actors. I'm more excited for what can be and very happy with what was.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

Just finished the series in about a week or so. Great stuff. I too expected a bit more from the ending, but overall the season was top notch. I loved MM's character. Looking forward to finding out more about season 2.Comment

I think for women you're not going to find superstar actresses doing this. And I would bet that most names some would consider star female actors and would do this, many would consider not top level enough.

Creator Nic Pizzolatto said that three leading actors will be cast for season 2.
It'll be very hard to top or equal the two that started the series.Comment
