I would probably go with something crazy like Zakk Wylde, Joey Jordison, and Steve Perry. Simply because they are all ****ing amazing.

I would also consider subbing in Chris Adler from LoG for Joey Jordison.

I don't know if I could pick this group. I don't think you can just put three legends together and automatically get a great band. You'd actually have to hear them to know if it was good. Hope that makes sense.

It makes plenty of sense. I just threw something wacky out that I doubt would ever work. Even if you picked guys from the same genre of music, there's no guaranteeing it would work out.

That's a reason why I created this thread, I was thinking about that earlier and it's not as easy as it sounds.

That's the other thing, why a trio? My favorite singer from a band of all time (Robert Plant) didn't play an instrument. Well, maybe a harmonica here and there.

From the standpoint of something that'll actually work?

Jack White because it's a trio so you need someone to do two things at once. (Singer + guitar)

Ray Manzarek because he can also do 2 things at once. ("Bass" + keys)

Have a blues rock sound here so to top that off on drums the obvious choice is John Bonham.

I could also go for Lemmy,Cliff Burton and Neil Peart.

A trio because it requires more thought to create than a 4-5 person band.

So basically Mike Kinsella playing American Football style stuff, Stu doing is thing (the singer from This Town Needs Guns), and Keith is from Empire! Empire! (I Was A Lonely Estate)
