He is becoming much more interesting, and if they continue him into season 2, he could be a compelling character.

That was a very powerful scene when he tells Lizzy he felt "sorry for her", because "he knew he had her".

I'm betting he works for some secret US Government Organization, not CIA.

I love this show, but some of the elements just don't add up. We are supposed to believe that Keene is one of the best and brightest in the FBI or as a profiler, but she can't put it together who Reddington is and she needed her husband to basically hit her in the face to confirm it's all a ruse of some kind.

I love the action, I think Reddington is one of the best characters in TV right now, I have enjoyed the cat and mouse game w/ Keene and Tom, but it's starting to wear thin IMO.

We need (and I think we'll get) some sort of payoff in the finale. I think that'll still leave questions, but guide us into what Season 2 will be about. They can't just drag the Tom/Lizzie stuff out to next year, that'd be stupid.

Tom/Lizzie isn't what's front and center now, although Tom may be a part of the overall puzzle heading into the finale. There has to be some sort of payoff in the finale, that's Season Finale 101. If they don't deliver that would be stupid and irritating.

If Tom/Lizzie show up in season 2, my hope is that they are somehow forced to work together. I'm probably in the minority here, but I think they could do something with that.

Putting together who Red is, is easier said then done. As to relying on her husband to open her eyes about Reddington, she has always looked at Red suspiciously.

Good idea about Tom/Lizzie working together....Plus we don't have a clue why Tom had to get into her life either.

Lots to be confused on, but they better deliver a cool finale!

I think that Tom's presence in Lizzy's life had less to do about her and more about the inevitability that Red was going to show up in it at some point...

She (we) doesn't understand Red's connection to her yet, but I think that the folks who are after him are / were and sent Tom to observe / report / lay in wait...

Regardless, it's been a fun season...I too, hope they can keep up the quality throughout the finale and upcoming season(s)...

                    Great insight.

As long as they have a decent enough plan for the main plotline each season then we should be ok. Each episode has been pretty fun with the secondary blacklist member to capture, and that's not too tough to keep up and make interesting.

The hard part is that long term story arc still giving you quality development within a season. Blacklist has been great though, because they'll kill characters and do stuff shockingly, so not too worried.

What about the burns on Red's back? Like he was in a fire.
