    Video game time?

    Hi Guys

I asked this yesterday but I guess it was one of the topics that got deleted.

What I was wondering is. Im sure alot of you guys are fans of games that just came out all close to within each other ( Madden 25,NHL 14,Fifa 14, NBA 2k14, F1 2013, GTA 5 ) and for me the games I am playing are Madden,NHL,F1 2013.

I work 6am-4pm so by the time I get home shower do any chores that may need to be done I am looking at maybe a hour at the most of game play. I don't like to brush aside chores or family commitments for hobbies.

For the guys that have multiple gaming interest, How do you manage your game time? maybe a game a night of a certain sport? maybe a week? for me I find I might play NHL one night and madden the next and just keep rotating in between real hockey and football. Usually there is a Leafs game on a couple times a week. I will leave F1 2013 and racing games until the weekends free time. For me that is the only way I can make progress on seasons, I can only imagine If I added NBA and Fifa ( which I am still thinking about ) to that. I have GTA 5 but am pacing myself on it.

I am just wondering how you guys and gals manage your game time? I dont have kids so that makes it a bit easier on my side. I do spend Sunday afternoons with nephews for a few hours though, after the 1pm game

    Re: Video game time?

I work 8-5 (ish..who ever gets out on time?) so It's tough. I used to be all GTA but now that its finished I usually just play 1 NHL and 1 NBA game a night. Usually I get back into NCAA/Madden during the weekends when football is on.

I also sometimes get back onto GTA online when I see a lot of my buddies are currently on so we do stuff together.

For sports games, I usually only find myself playing them on days that my team is playing. Not cause I'm not that interested in the games, but just so that I have like a schedule of when I play each game.

So for NHL,I'd play the games from September until April(and then May/June depending on how interested I am in playoffs) and NBA it's from October-April, NFL is from August-January(and SB weekend), MLB is from March(sometimes February)-September

I certainly sympathize with your dilemma. I work 8-5 (sometimes longer and put in 6-10 hours on Sundays), so my gaming time is very limited.

I've relegated NCAA/Madden to the weekends. Without in-game saves, I just don't have the time needed to play either during the work week.

For games like NHL, NBA 2K and MLB The Show, I'll play whichever I'm in the mood for that particular day. Having a Vita helps with MLB The Show as I can sometimes get a game (or at least half a game) in on my lunch break.

Recently I've been playing a lot of non-sports games, though, because I find I can make more progress in my limited gaming window.
