Just saw the movie.


While it wasn't great, it was very nice. X-Men fans will love the hell out of it. I would've like to see more of Blink and Bishop in action but maybe in the next one.


And I know a lot of people hated the way that Quicksilver looked but he was a scene stealer.

My question about Quicksilver is....

How are they going to explain him in the different "Marvel" universes, er, production companies that are not supposed to cross over? Especially with Captain America inferring in the extra scene he's there as well.

Could you imagine a Xmen/Spiderman/Avengers cross over. Like Fox, Sony and Marvel partnered up to make a huge film series. My mind would explode.

Absolutely loved it, just got home. Mel thoroughly enjoyed it as well.

I'll be the first to admit I'm not well-versed at all in my comic knowledge (don't think I've ever read a comic book in my life) but I know the characters and love the X-Men - both from video games and reading about them online when I get bored.

Fantastic movie, and Quicksilver stole the show. I liked the one-liner he had about Magneto as well.

Basing this off a strictly movie viewer standpoint (like I said... I don't know the comics/storylines from them well at all) it is one of my favorite superhero movies of all time - even with the loopholes/downfalls that this type of story can bring about.

Saw it this past afternoon. Pretty good movie. Wolverine held his own, i swear every time we see him he gets in better and better shape.

Story was pretty good. Would of liked a bit more of the bleak future but beyond that, it was pretty interesting.

Apocalypse at the end credit was definitely interesting. Thought the person looked like a female though, however it still piqued my interest and I cant wait for another one.

Now, I know in many people's opinion X-Men the Last Stand was the worst one out of the bunch, but was there a reason to nullify it though?

Basically after the events of this movie, it completely erases everything that happened in that movie, as wrong as that is, it's going to make the Apocalypse movie that much better with all of the X-Men there

Saw it this afternoon, thought it very very good - and maybe just a *slight* notch below the greats (comic book movies). Excellent job Bryan Singer handling so many characters and the time jumping storyline. Thought everyone got a chance to shine - really enjoyed the Blink and Quicksilver portrayals. I like they didn't make Quicksilver the brooding presence he has been in the comics (at least back when I was reading).

Very cool/understated ending credits scene also - my second fave of all time (top one being that classic Thanos grin at the end of Avengers).
