Saw it today. Awesome movie. Really enjoyed the story. The 3 cameos in the end make the future xmen movies that much better. Ill post more later. But quicksilver stole the show.

Almost every review I've heard has a comment about how awesome Quicksilver is in this movie. That makes me curious as to what direction Whedon takes Quick-*** in Age of Ultron.

So it was a good story, made up for the other movies. To be honest, this is one of my favorite superhero movies. I really enjoyed it. The X-Men are my favorite superheros behind Spidey, thought they did it really well.

They did a great job of explaining why they sent back Logan instead of Kitty Pryde, in my opinion, this way was better. Quicksilver was very fun and entertaining, stole the show. The comedy in the first half of the movie made it very good. Charles eventually giving in to using his powers was a good struggle. I never have really liked JLaw for anything but her boobs, but she plays a solid Mystique. Love seeing Iceman actually using his power to be a badass, not just a punk kid. Blink was sick. I never knew JFK was a mutant until now. I wish Rogue would have had a little bigger role, but seeing her in the end was cool, wish she would have talked with Logan. The scene with Jean and Cyclopes was awesome, love seeing those two back, and the friction with Logan and Cyclopes right away was great.

Great movie overall. I really enjoyed it. One of my favorite superhero movies ever. Especially X-Men movies.

When Quicksilver says that his mom used to know someone who could control metal. DUH!!!! Magneto is Quicksilver's dad.

Really enjoyed the movie! Quicksilver proved me wrong (but he still looks stupid) and out of all the new mutants, I liked Blink the most. That portal action was cool as ICE(man).

Also, when I grow up to become a mutant, I'd really like to dress as well as Magneto. Straight pimpin'.

Some thoughts:

1. I'm curious where they're going to take Wolverine. Mystique has hold of him as Stryker, but will adamantium come into play in the future? Will it even come to play at all? I'm sure he'll get it eventually but now I'm not so sure HOW he gets it.

2. Is the little girl Peter was holding Wanda? Also, that little comment when he and Erik were talking in the elevator pretty much confirms they're father and son.

3. The reunion at the end was pretty touching and, I think, a great way to send off the original cast as we embark with the new First Class. Or second. Who knows.

4. I really want a proper Cyclops, Jean-Grey and Storm in the next movie.

5. Apocalypse!!!!! You need to eat.

3. If every character in the movie, save for Bobby, Logan, Kitty and Storm are played by two actors/actresses then I'm going to assume that DOFP has young Quicksilver and ASM has old Quicksilver, each played by different actors... continuity saved!

4. How can Kitty transport people's consciousness through time as part of her phasing power? They may have explained it and I missed it, but that part had me confused.

Just got back from seeing this. I thought it was outstanding and was on par with Captain America 2 & Avengers imo. Quicksilver stole the show in his couple scenes.

Saw the movie earlier and like most loved it, was a damn good move with so many Wow moments. Put it up there with Avengers and TDK...going to have them all in my Blue-ray library.

comments and a couple questions

Magneto was such a bad ***, always liked him. Loved when Eric and Charles were talking on the plane and Charles told Erik he got into Ravens head, Erik replied that's not my power Charles, that's your's, she made her own choices. So simple and hit hard...loved that.

Glad they brought back Jean and Cyclops and erased a lot of what happened in that other X-men movie. Halle Berry for some reason still bugs me as Storm ...question though as I can't remember...how did Xavier get his body back? I remember him being killed and then his mind when into that guy in the hospital...was wondering about that.

Also on the ending scene, know it's supposed to be Apocalypse and that was The Four Horsemen on Apocalypse...but wasn't Gambit one of the Horsemen? Or was there 4 Horsemen before Gambit?...i'm not very knowledgeable on it an from a story I read I thought it started with Gambit in it.
