One of my favorite books as a kid. Realllly loved it.
I read the spin off too, Enders Shadow.

Dont remember much though, may have to re read it if I want to see the movie

Saw it this afternoon, I never read the book, the movie was alright. Definitely impressive in terms of visuals, however beyond that, it was average. The story was good until mid way through the end where it felt like they were cramming everything into a small time frame.

Now how is it that he was able to hear the queen and trust her? that part felt so rushed, then he proceeds to explore same to revive this species? It felt so rushed and unexplained.

His brother being an aggressive person felt like it was suppose to be something big, yet it was just brushed upon since he kept comparing himself to his brother. Beyond that, the way they tricked him into destroying the planet was pretty cool

Overall though, pretty solid movie

I read the book over the summer and loved it. Bought the rest of the series but haven't read those yet.

I'm really excited for the movie and am seeing it tomorrow night.
