You can watch it streaming now via the official website that you linked. It's also on Xfinity. I'll give it a go as it seems to be an untapped setting for a TV show. Has there been a good pirate show or even any pirate show?

Edit: I was about to watch the first episode but it said it is an edited version. I'll wait for the premier tomorrow.

And now there's 2 pirate shows coming out within a few months of each other since John Malkovich's show comes out in Spring I think.

Could be interesting but so far Party Down is really the only show I've liked from Starz. Michael Bay's name being attached doesn't help much either. Hopefully he had very little input.

Watched this, thought it was good first episode setting up the pieces. I felt like it'll be a lot of the power struggle and politicking sort of like game of thrones except this will take place on war ships and the high seas.

Episode 1 was pretty good, I'm going to watch episode 2 tonight since i dvr-ed it. It really gives me an Assassin's Creed 4 vibe which is funny

Maybe it was my low expectations going in but I really enjoyed the first 2 eps. I think they've hooked me for the rest of the season at least.

I'm curious to see what happens with Vane. I started out hating him, but I think he's my favorite character now.
