    Anyone use Powerline adapters

I'm thinking about getting one but want to see others experiences with them.

I have a couple in my house, I needed more than wi-fi in the man cave downstairs and didn't want to wire my house. Basically just uses your electric outlets like a ethernet port. I've been happen with the performance I have no issue streaming Netflix, NBA League Pass games, Xbox Music, and playing multiplayer games with it. It's performed so well that I bought a couple more to put in our master bedroom & in the guest room for when people need higher speed than wi-fi offers.

I grabbed the 'ZyXel' brand from Amazon, was a breeze to setup basically just plug into your internet source (modem or even a router), plug into an outlet press a few buttons and it sets the network automatically..took about 5 minutes.

Cool. Are there 3-4 packs? Only ones I can find are the 2 packs and we need one upstairs and one in the basement.

They had a 1 and 2-pack when I ordered, but the 2 pack was something like $40 and the single was $30 so I ended up grabbing 2 of the 2-packs and just have an extra one in case I need another for a different room.

Just a question but all the powerline adapters are interchangable with eachother right. Like 2 different brands can work with eachother

As long as they use the same protocol they should, there are two standards IEEE 1905 and 1901. Just check the protocols before you buy.
