I was gonna buy that $75 HDTV as a gift for someone and I was on the webpage when it will live... added to cart and was full with waiting list full. Literally less than a minute went between I clicked on purchase and from 0% to 100% claimed it went.
And I agree, so far this sale sucks.

Think of all the crap they sale that has probably been sitting untouched in the warehouses for years and years and years. They probably ran some analysis and just wanted to purge it all for the extra hype + shelf space.

I have bought a few things though, the prices are lower than they usually are, so if you are going to buy something anyways, you will save a little bit of money.
Also going to get the Photoshop & Lightroom CC as its finally back down to the $80 price. Amazon has an offer for today only to get $40 GC back after purchasing it.Comment

Re: Amazon Prime price going up... $20- $40
I swear I hate Amazon sometimes.
The 2-3 toys that I really wanted to buy my daughter, I managed to add it to my cart, only for the page to load to a waiting list full.
What irks me the most is that they claim the item is "sold out" however you can still buy the same item at a regular price.
So not only are they offering crappy deals.. the good deals they do have are very limited.Comment

FYI Amazon just fired shots at Netflix. If you are a Prime member you can now download Prime videos and watch them Offline. No Internet connection required
This is huge for those like me who travel to work via public transportation regularly. Downloaded and watched me some Deadwood today on my G2 and it worked flawlessly.

The $99 bundle is still in place and offers the best value. Just have to pay annually.

Starting the 1 month free trial now as I wanted to stream TNF.
What is everyone's attitude about this membership at this point? I doubt I will do much renting of movies and try to just stick with what they offer. I need to check some of the original programming as well.Comment

Re: Amazon Prime price going up... $20- $40
We own ~300 pieces of content on Amazon, probably a couple orders a week delivered to the house, use prime music on our 5 Echo devices.
Now that Disney Movies Anywhere is turning into just Movies Anywhere and adding everyone but Paramount and Lionsgate, any content we purchased before on iTunes, Xbox Live and Vudu are now available easily to our Kindles via Amazon also.
This could probably go up 200-300% and still be a bargain for our use case.Comment
