Wow, didn't know he was sick. His contributions to the industry are endless. I first saw him on Second City TV.

Didn't know he was sick either. Encore had been playing Stripes and Meatballs a lot lately don't know if it was related or just coincidence. RiP.PS: You guys are great.

Not only a fantastic comedic actor but he turned into a pretty damn good director too. Like most everyone here I didn't know he was sick either.

Ghostbusters was huge for me as a child of the 80s. My friends and I had proton packs and everything...RIP.

Yup, I also go as far back as his SCTV days as well as his early movies with Bill Murray and (the TRULY classic) "Animal House"...
Hard to put into current context how "counterculture" those things (along with very early SNL) were at the time...
RIP to a guy who made me laugh heartily and often!
