Expect the remaining five episodes to air in 2020 but knowing these guys it's anybody's guess when in 2020.
It was probably too real, but really did fit the characters. Will be better if the impacts span the rest of the season or if it's a one off and Rick goes back to normal.

So funny I feel the opposite with the first two episodes.

I thought the first one was really weird and the 2nd one was amazing

If anyone had any doubts after Season 4 I think we can safely state that Rick & Morty is on the down slope.

Yeah it's really sad. I recall there being maybe 1 or 2 decent episodes in season 4, and season 5 has been bad. I finally gave up on the show after the Hellraiser episode a few weeks ago, and it seems like that was a good decision based on things I've heard on the episodes since then.

It's like they hired a bunch of Family Guy writers and let them take the show over. There are certainly a bunch of laughs in each episode, but the storylines are generally not very good.

Are there any Rick and Morty alternatives out there with similar artstyle animation?

Solar Opposites on Hulu. It's Dan Harmon's show, it's uncensored, and super F'd up.

I was afraid I would no longer enjoy R&M without Roiland but it turns out Harmon can do this pretty good all by himself. Three episodes into Season 7, I give Harmon an A+ so far. I guess Harmon is Paul Simon and Roiland is Garfunkel.
