I'm caught up and it is better than last season to me. More locations and not as slow as I remember season one being.

Re: TURN: Revolutionary War Spy Drama on AMC
The second season finished up on Monday night and I'm looking forward to season 3 which will most certainly be the final season. I really enjoyed Season 2, but I think there was a lot more violence and sex used to boost ratings. Lots of stuff you wouldn't find in the books I've read on Washington's spies. Also, my one my hope for Season 3 is they add subtitles for Richard Roberts because I can't understand a blame thing he says..- LETS GO RED SOX!!!
- LETS GO HOKIES!!!
- GO PACK GO!!!
- LETS GO BRUINS!!!

Re: TURN: Revolutionary War Spy Drama on AMC
Just finished up the season and it really was better than S01....though not taking away the unique quality of S01. The setup for S03 was really good too.
Ya, I could do without the sexy times too. However, it was a violent time and displaying the fictional and non-fictional violence had to happen. My only question is why are they showing the rebel forces fighting like the Brits? That was crazy. I thought the US basically went guerrilla warfare on the Brits and that was partly how the war was won?Comment

The real good hunters could get in cover and try to pick off soldiers one by one. but even then, the guns fired once and loading it again took another 15 to 30 seconds.
In the countryside, both the British Loyalist Militia and the Rebels fought in the countryside behind trees, logs, etc.
There were a lot more people dying of cold and disease than gunshot wounds in the Revolution. There were only about 8,000 total killed by combat wounds on each side. If you got captured, you were pretty much dead because of the cold and disease.
Make no mistake though the real reason the British lost is because they didn't want to win a complete victory, they just wanted to subdue anti-king talk and subdue the population into being loyal to the crown. They knew the US economy and trade was huge to them so they couldn't just burn everything down and trust me if they wanted an all out victory they could have marched down the coast, burned everything in their path and left.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment
