And that's where our opinions differ. Movie was awful to me and she was a big part of that. Could not take her seriously and that was a role built for her so she gets zero rope from me.

I enjoyed the action, but a couple "dramatic" scenes were just blah. She has no personality on screen. There's a reason why she wasn't sought out and cast in the role and why most of her roles involve her talking as little as possible and doing action/stunt roles. Plus, she has less acting experience than Gadot.

I just don't see the comparison some are trying to make between the two as far as "unknown acting ability" goes.

Alexander would have been my choice, FWIW. And I don't think I've ever seen anything with Gadot in it, but I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt.

I was one of those that scoffed at Affleck last summer, but more and more I'm coming around to the idea that he could be a good Wayne/Batman.

I remember watching "John Carter" and thinking the female lead in that movie would make a great Wonder Woman. Lynn Collins is her name.

She was looking mighty fine in season 1 of True Blood, too.

I don't get why people want Carano. She may look the part but she can't act what's so ever. Not one bit. All her parts are limited speaking parts and all action.

How can she carry her own stand alone summer movie in the future where she has to talk the whole movie.

I don't know rockin...Gardot may surprise us.. Hell people like me were pissed when Heath Ledger got the joker role..No one is pissed now. I think people had their own vision of what WW would look like and the minute I heard WW was in the next Superman Carano was the 1st to come to my mind. If they play WW like JL version (Matter of fact speaking, somewhat wooden, and part fish out of water) I think Carano might've been ok.


I know Carano and Cavill dated for a time and that ended abruptly so that may have been a strike against her being in the flick(as well as her acting..but Gardot wasn't much better in FAF imo)


Anyone remember that syndicated show Legend of the Seeker? I always thought the brunette companion in that flick would have been a good WW too.

Wouldn't surprise me if they cast Gadot as WW just to take some of the attention off the casting of Affleck as Batman and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.

It's Hollywood. Not like we don't see these kind of stupid decisions all the time or anything.

It's still a concern among a lot of people. It's died down because of Gal Gadot rage though.
