It doesn't surprise me honestly. WB is just getting off the ground while Marvel is in a state comfortable enough to start diving into it's B list.

It also doesn't surprise me that Marvel has more of the comic geeks' favor. Marvel wears their comic adaptations on their sleeve while remaining true to the sources as closely as possible. For me it is a flaw, but I can see why people love it.

Marvel doesn't care to go with the dark theme with everything where this seems to teeter towards.

They crack jokes, they makes you laugh and give you tons of action. Don't see that here. Everyone is frowning.

Pretty sure that's exactly what it is, could see it working quite well, this persona just providing a lot more contast to a crazy guy behind closed doors.

Co-sign. He is my biggest concern in this flick. If he gets a ton of screen time and ends up as annoying as he has been in every clip I've seen him in this flick will be in trouble. Still to early to judge but I've been skeptical from the start.

Wow, I haven't found him annoying at all. I see him being that guy that breaks up the darkness/seriousness with comedic relief.

I think the problem is that as an actor, he's a bit type casted now.
