LOL, Sutter admitting in the AfterShow that the kid (Able) was not exactly a "seasoned actor".

Was the ambush too convenient? TO and Rat were counting on being abducted, with TO caving on cue? Then Tyler is left with only one of Marks' men to contend with?

As to the truth of it, the scene that was shown at the end of the AfterShow had Jarry telling Unser that

Lin was stabbed multiple times in the neck, the security cameras were taken out, and that the room was "bought". Unser then tells an arriving Jax, Chibs, and Tibs that Lin was killed. Come to think of it, Jarry could be lying to Unser (who she doesn't trust) to set up the Sons....somehow?

I just assumed one of the Niners reached out to SAMCRO when Moses took Tyler. Jax knew Cartwright would come after them, that's what the look at the end of last weeks episode was about. You gotta think everybody close to the club had instructions on what to do in the event of a kidnapping. I don't know, I don't read too much into it anymore. I almost changed the channel during the cold open. Way too much sex in general for a cable tv show, but this was nothing but awkward sex throughout culminating with a weeping Jackson Teller. Brilliant writing there, Kurt. The rest of the episode definitely made up for it.

I just assumed one of the Niners reached out to SAMCRO when Moses took Tyler. Jax knew Cartwright would come after them, that's what the look at the end of last weeks episode was about. I have to give props to Walton Goggins and Kim Coates for their work. I was surprised at how choked up Goggins got when he was talking about his Venus scenes.
Many of the sex scenes were awkward, and Sutter really overestimated the Jax-Girl scene's impact in the aftershow.

It would have been a better impact if it wasn't a damn sex montage, but rather just Jax and this girl. I understand what he was going for, but the montage opening style undercut its purpose.

Tully reading poems to Juice had me dying.

Did anybody catch the cast on Conan last night?

Well you can take comfort in the fact that most of the racists get theirs in the end lol. The racist dudes from this episode will probably be stacked up next episode. It's the "bad guys" that are about that life. But I feel you

I keep trying to determine if the positions in which Gemma and Juice were "receiving" in that awkward opening is symbolizing their fate. I know, I know, it's a pretty odd comment, but it just struck me as odd.

I am seeing Juice as the club's new "Otto".

I don't see that at all....not even remotely. Otto was a standup guy, if you can subtract some of the craziness in which Sutter (the writer) went to far. Juice is a rat, and a coward.

As in the "Son" doing thy bidding behind bars. Otto was there honorably I guess is a way to say it, and Juice is there to make amends for his disloyalty. That's the way I see it anyway.

3 things. Theo Rossi is killing it as Juice. Jazz, not appropriate for chase scenes. Unser is Jahlil Okafer's dad.
