Re: Halt and Catch Fire
I enjoyed it enough to stick with it for the next couple / few episodes...
It's gotten some "Breaking Bad" and "MadMen" comparison level reviews, which are kind of a stretch (so far)...
Still I found it to be quality:
Character and dialog driven, pretty accurate period piece, etc...

Re: Halt and Catch Fire
I liked it but I'm not going to get too attached to this one as I don't think it will see a second season.
Numbers for the premiere were pretty weak.....

1.2 million viewers. 900K less than the premiere for Turn.Comment

Re: Halt and Catch Fire
I plan on binge-watching this once the season is over, not sure it's something I want to follow week-by-week. As an IT professional though it's definitely something I want to check out."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: Halt and Catch Fire
I watch it. I'm not seeing how they'll get much more than a season or so out of it, though. It just doesn't have that storyline to it that seems to write well for several seasons. Not to mention, it wouldn't surprise me if they lose some casual viewers with how they get into some of the computer science.Comment

Re: Halt and Catch Fire
I'm enjoying it. I don't know squat about computer programming, but I find the sales/marketing aspect of it pretty interesting. The acting has been solid so far, too, in my mind.Comment
