PC Problem: Keep getting blue screen crash

Anything to do to fix this? Or does this mean I need to be looking towards getting a replacement?

Do you have the error message from the blue screen? Do the crashes appear to be random, or do certain actions tend to trigger them (like going full screen on a video).

Any software related changes (video drivers, etc) made recently?

Does it have two sticks of memory in it? I'd try removing one of them to see if the problem continues. Then try the other stick (in the same slot). Then try them individually in the 2nd mem slot.

Running memtest86 can help identify if there is a memory related problem. This is best done with a single memory stick in the machine at a time. http://www.memtest.org/

Could be multiple things, bad memory, corrupted OS. Hard to figure out.

Maybe flash a new bios and see if that helps? Could be a new driver not working right with the motherboard

Hasn't happened the past 2 days. Don't recall installing any new software....definitely no new hardware.

Are you overclocked? And how old is your equipment? I had a processor that I could run at 3.6 overclocked and after a couple of years, it just couldn't run there any more. Put it at 3.5 and the blue screens stopped.
