Any Windows Phone Users Out There..?

I have been with Apple and now been with Android over the last 2 years which I prefer over Apple but I want to try something new. Been leaning towards a Windows phone. Any recommendations?

All fanboy-ism aside can someone tell me why they prefer Windows Phones over Apple or Androids? What do you guys like and dislike about it..Kind of leaning towards the Nokia Lumia 925 or the Lumia 1020..

I have the Lumia 1520. It's a big phone which took some getting used to but now it's hard to go back to smaller phones, they feel tiny.

I won't get into specs but I switched over from an android phone I had for a few years (Motorola Atrix). I mainly switched for a taste of a new OS. I definitely like it so far. I like the live titles and the camera is great, which comes in really nice since I have a 10 month old son I'm always snapping pictures of.

I was a little worried about the app selection but that has come A LONG way the last few years. If you're feeling itchy for a new feel from your phones OS definitely take a look. Go into a store and mess around with the OS for awhile to make sure it's not a huge turn off. As for me though I haven't missed Android at all.

I have an old Lumia that I got for free when I got on my fiancee's family plan with Verizon. I really like the interface and the functionality.

In my mind, the apps are still way behind. I don't use apps that much, and the major ones are available (facebook, twitter, Pandora, ESPN, etc), but there are quite a few that my friends have on their iPhones or Andriods that I cannot get.

That being said, this is the best functioning phone that I've ever had, and I've owned it longer than I've owned any single phone in a long time.

I loved my Lumia 920 until I broke it, but the apps really can be limiting. You can still get your basics like Pandora, Twitter, Facebook, etc.

The Nokia phones are legit. They have some of the best mobile cameras I've ever messed with. Do some research and find out if the Apps you need are Available. If that checks out okay, I say try to get a Lumia. That phone is very stable and in my experience, would out perform both my current phones (Galaxy S3 and iPhone 5s).

I have the first Lumia model, I believe, and I really enjoy it. I don't think you could go wrong with any of them, though I don't know what the differences are between the different models, or what any of the newer ones are like.

I got my Nokia Lumia 810 in December 2012. It's alright, but I might go back to Android.

The recent iphones take considerably better pictures then this phone.

I understand everyone has their own opinions and taste and I don't know much about the Lumia 810 but I read up on the Lumia 925 and a lot of people said its camera is better than the iPhone 5. Also seen video comparisons of pictures taken between the Lumia 925 vs. Iphone 5 and the 925 just looks better in low light settings. Windows phones usually has good cameras, maybe the best e.g.. Lumia 1020

I have a Lumia 520 which is the low end Windows Phone. I think its decent but nothing that is going to compete with Apple or Android at the moment though the 8.1 Update coming is supposed to bridge the gap and make Windows Phone a better competitor to the iPhone and Android Phones. App wise its pretty bare aside from Facebook,Twitter,Pandora and probably a couple more but im not much of one to go onto the Windows store looking for ripoff apps of stuff I can get on my iPad.

right here, Lumia 1520, one of the best phone I have used, and the Xbox one integration is sick, I love it. Also the New MS xbox one NFL app is going to be sick.


Lumia 1520 has a 6' screen its sick, love it.
