IMO Keaton is underappreciated. & underrated. Loved him in Birdman & going back aways, Jackie Brown.
If he was cast in the right role in King Kong, this could be pretty good.
As far as Jack Black, what's almost as bad as Black in a Kong movie is Black in any movie.
Can't stand him. The only thing I've liked seeing him in is the Bruce Willis The Jackal movie.
if all his characters eneded up that way, it might be worth seeing more Black movies.

I liked Jack Black in King Kong, and I don't like him in very much. School of Rock may be the only other thing I've liked him in.

They can't help themselves. Trailers these days are pitiful. They show way more than they ever should.

They should have just left it with the giant hand hitting the helicopter, as if to say: "Yeah folks... he's there."

You mean the like X-Men: Apocalypse trailer did with the Wolverine claws at the end? People still got pissed at that. It was a quick 2 seconds of just showing Wolverine's claws at the end of the trailer. Nothing more and people were infuriated.

That's different because that was a surprise cameo, er sort of. Or at least, he's not a big part of the story. He shouldn't be revealed at all.

This one has Kong's name in the title, so we know he'll be there. But don't leave us knowing or seeing too much before we see it in theater.

It's a movie. About King Kong. They showed King Kong. He's also a giant gorilla... There isn't exactly much to be left to the imagination outside of his size.

If you don't want things spoiled (and this doesn't even reach that level), don't hang out in forum threads or watch trailers prior to release.

Different movie, different era, different version. You save some of the suspense. The larger point is what was said about trailers in general. Just too much leg.
