    Marvel Cinematic Universe Chronological Order

I have sadly spent a lot of time on this and think I have it pretty much dead on in order. Obviously there's overlaps and not much you can do about that. Hulk is the one that throws a monkey wrench since it begins before Iron Man 2, happens during both Thor and IM2 and then ends after Thor does. You can flip Hulk/Thor without much change in the story flow, just the One Shot's have to be in their current places.

All Hail the King works best after the 2 parter in Agents of SHIELD to break it up a bit between storylines. I originally had it right after IM3.

Let me know what you think.

Makes me re-realize that the entire season of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is on my DVR and I have only watched one-and-a-half-episodes. From a Marvelverse standpoint, is it worth investing time into?

It's okay. The ones that deal with Marvel movie storylines flow great with the movies. The rest can be filler.

I agree. Except for Colson, the actors had the CW channel acting feel to them for the most part. I could see them possibly bringing the Asian female pilot into future Marvel movies for bit roles, but that's about it.

We really enjoy SHIELD, but it's not movie quality I'd agree....I feel they got better in the 2nd half of the season, so looking forward to season 2

I gave up on Shield three or four episodes in. I was hoping that ABC would get it on Netflix near the start of the second season because I think I could enjoy the show more all at once.

Save for one casting role toward the end. You'll know it when you see it. But I think we're taking this thread off track.

Not gonna start a new thread just for this, but came across this. This is the one I've been waiting for:

                  INHUMANS movie proposed.

Skip to episode 13, then watch the rest of the season. They couldn't do much to advance the story until The Winter Soldier came out so a lot of the earlier episodes are them basically spinning their wheels. It got really entertaining towards the end.

Also, as far as chronology, there was a comic that Marvel put out sometime before Avengers that showed the timeline and how everything happened in one week:

Edit: for some reason, it won't show the big version so here's the link.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Nice chart there, should help explain a lot with the movies order.

Just read that Joaquin Phoenix is in the front running for Dr. Strange? Well, I know the name fits, and I'm not the biggest Dr. S. fan, but this does not seem to be a good casting role. Dr. Strange..... will elevator shoes?

Hehe...was just thinking..... isn't Stark's ego big enough that the timeline uses him as the hub??

This could make sense since Sony is struggling as a company.

Well, they were going to have the Daily Bugle building in Avengers and Stark Tower in Amazing Spiderman, so they're clearly willing to work with each other and with Sony having their financial issues and the Spiderman movies not doing as well as they need, it makes sense for both sides. I'd love to see Spiderman in an Avengers movie.
