REALLY enjoyed Tom's reaction to the arrival of Red and Ressler...
Plus Tom legit cares for Lizzie....

AG was awesome, but my wife and I both think he's gonna be a villain at some point, just seems slimy.

Though I thought the judge was gonna be a bad guy and doesn't seem like it.

Really interested to see what the next big plot point will end up being. They've kinda tied up a lot of the Berlin loose ends I think.

Forget "seems slimy", he "is slimy". He practically admitted it to Cooper. Seems like a different animal then most "ambitious ,do anything to get ahead guys". He's engaging and has some pizzazz.

Anyone catch the "step 9, making amends" Seinfeld reference from Stanky Hanky?

I was surprised Cooper was so willing to admit to perjury to AG, like it was just joshing comments between boys

Missed that. You have to be referring to Spader's appearance on Seinfeld, where George is waiting for an apology. What happened exactly?

I should've written it down because I already forgot , but yeah Red said "Step 9, making amends" to someone, the same step he was on when George wanted that apology. Might load up Hulu later and check again

Just watched last weeks episode. Fantastic as usual. I am with mgoblue in think the AG is going to end up being a villain/causing problems for the task force. How many episodes do we have left in this season? I don't want it to end.

I'm with you. Only 6 left.

I may be mixing this up, but wasn't he the one who got him in the drug trial. I thought he either said something like you owe me or used it to get him to do something. I think he needed him to cover something up.

Yeah he was the one. The key moment was when Cooper joked about losing his morals because of the task force, and Tom Connolly said, "I never had any. That's why I'm going to be Attorney General".

Meh episode this week. Nice ending though. Was only a matter of time before they met up again.

I probably liked it better than you. Anytime I'm reminded of Red's status as the most important man in the world, I'm going to enjoy the episode. The Tom scenes were good, but why did the Germans let Tom's mentor live?

I was wondering that myself. Tom said he could help him, not his mentor. Considering he was about to kill him it didn't make sense to me.

I was shocked Tom didn't say you can kill him or ask for a gun or knife and do it himself.

Even before Tom said he could help them, they let him go for fear of the FBI being on their backs... my guess is they figured that extended to his mentor too. However...
