The Godfather. Can't really think of much else that I liked enough.

                    Re: Top 3 movie trilogy's?

                    In no particular order:

LOR -- amazingly detailed (only thing I disliked was Agent Smith as an Elf)

Indiana Jones (as long as we're allowed to forget the mess that was #4) --- #1 was a cinametastic popcorn legend

The Bourne Trilogy -- great flow and intriguing twists + action

                    Coulda/woulda/shoulda:

Mission Impossible: but the original theme was bastardized and then it became "Tom Cruise's Impossible Missions"

The Godfather: I don't know how you go from #2 (being a top GOAT movie) to the drudgery that was #3)

The Matrix: Once they arrived at Zion in #2, it was all over. The combination of talking about family values and honor coupled with a pseudo-orgy didn't cut it. Whoa!

Back to the Future: One of the most original movies of its' time. However, once #3 came around, it was time to go back to Back to the Future.

Spider-Man: Yes, #3 was that bad. And with the new go around #2 already blew it.

X-Men: again, as good as #2 was, #3 was done in by the need to make it look like a comic bood anniversary issue (ya know, where they stick anyone and everyone in).

TDK: #1 was magnificent, until there was too much of it. Maybe I'm too much of a Marvel fan, though.

                      Re: Top 3 movie trilogy's?

Good call with Bourne... but aren't there 4? Same with Indiana Jones. Maybe it's silly and just me but I think "trilogy" should have weight, and I tend to not count series that had more than 3 movies. Otherwise, just pick your favorite 3 James Bonds movies and throw them on the list.

Personally, I think The Matrix Trilogy is up there. I agree that there was a bit too much of Zion in 2 but 1 was THAT good, and 3 wrapped it all up nicely.

Final note, "Tom Cruise's Impossible Missions" is most definitely the best description I've ever heard. I did enjoy them... all of them. But they still get a big knock for representing "Mission Impossible"

Are the Matt Damon and Boxer-Nose movies connected for the Bourne series?

It seems like in both cases (and others), the "4's" were afterthoughts. Hollywood not having original ideas.....money makers, especially with Indiana. It seemed to be a thinking of "let's capitalize on Harrison Ford while we still can."

LOL really? The first one is definitely a classic in the teen sex comedy genre but the quality really dropped off.

                              Anywho for me it's:

                              1. Original SW trilogy
                              2. Back to the Future
                              3. Toy Story (I'd have gone with Godfather but the 3rd film is so far below the greatness of the first two that it's a travesty)
