Re: The Walking Dead (Season 5)
I would think it's a given? He's the bad guy for this season. It's Rick vs Mr. Hipster
Still interested who's making those marks on the trees. Does anyone remember if Rick talked about it in previous seasons with Morgan?
Maybe Dale since he's a tracker?
I also thought that maybe a different group (didn't read the comics) made a sign similar to Terminus stating to follow those marks.
Or it's Beth. Doesn't she always have her knife with her? Maybe it's a sign she's making for her sister to let her know she's alive. Morgan is simply just following them.Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 5)
Oooh, good point on Beth.
I assume next episode will follow what's gone on with her. We just got a cracker of an episode, we're due for some story contributing episodes soon.
I can't wait for Michonne to unleash some fury on some bad guys. She's turned into my favorite character. I didn't think she'd last this long at first impression, but she's really become a top dog of the whole crew.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

She's turned into the baddest B. Especially when you consider where she came from. She's easily had the best character development since Day 1. She's by far my favorite. Rick's coming along though. He's docked points for the "farmer Rick" and "visions of ghost Lori Rick" though. My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

I still find it hilarious Michonne crafted her own sword (dual-sided too!) from 3 pieces of wood and some string.Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 5)
I'm too far invested in this series to quit now, but this show is like a cross between a daytime soap opera and an awful horror movie. It is laughable how awful and predictable it has become. Unfortunately, with how popular it is now, it will only be even more drawn out as they run the show into the ground with too many seasons, going in the same old circles they've been going in.
I'm going to keep watching only because I am curious as to what exactly is going to happen...but the show doesn't have me sucked in like it did the first 2 seasons.Last edited by Exogenesis33; 10-15-2014, 05:53 PM.Comment

You say it's predictable but that you watch because you're curious as to what is going to happen?....St. Louis Cardinals | Milwaukee Bucks | Los Angeles Rams

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 5)
The themes are predictable. Obviously I didn't mean predictable as in "I know exactly what's going to happen" LOL. You can't possibly think I meant predictable down to every detail.Last edited by Exogenesis33; 10-15-2014, 05:58 PM.Comment

I kinda sorta agree but not to the extent that you say. I still get enjoyment out of it at times, though I find myself groaning out loud a lot. This last episode was pretty solid though.
What you describe sums up exactly how I felt watching Dexter the last few seasons. That was hate-watching at it's peak for me.

I liked the premiere, but not nearly as much as I liked the early seasons. I find that I'm paying more attention to the dumb stuff (the guy backing away on the ground for 5 seconds from a walker instead of just getting up and running or stabbing it; the guns pointed at the ground while shooting; the terrible CGI; Carl's attempt at whatever emotion it was when he saw Judith at the end) moreso than the story.I kinda sorta agree but not to the extent that you say. I'll continue watching, because I also am interested to see how "the cure" story plays out and where the show goes in the future. I think I'm pretty different where I tend to enjoy the character development episodes much more than the zombie kill count episodes. With 15 in the group now, plus a missing Beth, plus the return of Morgan, plus introduction of new characters... I don't know how much character development there will be this season.Comment
