I loved the episode. They established two things... The zombies are getting into insanely large hordes, which makes them a whole lot scarier. And, that people are still the scariest thing on the planet.

Carol, the woman Andrea and Lorie wish they could've been.
And jeezus christ, new season, same old spoiler talk. Hasn't it already been established that you spoiler and LABEL ANYTHING RELATED TO THE COMICS and CONCRETE FUTURE EPISODE INFO? Recently aired episodes are NOT SPOILERED.
Eugene's explanation just doesn't seem to fit with the world that has been established for 4 seasons. I call
As for Morgan, I take it the X's/trail marks came from Rick? Excited to see where this goes!Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 5)
I think the X trails mark something completely different. Rick and the group continued up the tracks as Rick marked the Terminus sign. Morgan was at the same sign and veered off into the woods (if I remember correctly). Plus Rick and his group wouldnt exactly want to be found at this point by anybody.
Probably has something to do with where Beth is imo. I mean she has to show up eventually.Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 5)
Didn't ABC, NBC, and CBS say no thank you back in the day? The NFL must be scratching their heads.
With 17.3 million viewers, the season five premiere of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” was the highest rated show in cable television history. The show topped a 2007 airing of High School Musical 2 which aired on August 17, 2007 and drew 17.2 million viewers as highest-rated live/same day non-sports telecast in cable history. The ratings top the season 4 premiers which drew a series-best 16.1 million viewers.
That season 4 premiere had been the most watched cable show of all time when considering time-shifted viewing, which wasn’t much of a factor when HSM set its record in 2007. . Last night’s premiere, entitled No Sanctuary, is expected to break that record with more than 22 million total viewers.
What’s been even more impressive than the raw numbers is “The Walking Dead’s” demographic performance, and last night was no exception. With 11 million viewers, a 6% increase over last year, the premiere was the most watched show in the 18-49 age group, beating powerhouse live programming like Sunday Night Football.

The Walking Dead (Season 5)
"Oh **** Wolverine was here let's go this way"
Episode was crazy nuts right off the bat. One of the rare times everyone agrees it was a great episode. Can't wait to see what happens next.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 5)
Did anyone notice this? I'll keep this in spoilers because it sounds like they may expand on this in a future episode.
Spoiler
So who was the guy in the train car at the end of the episode seen tormenting Gareth's family? It was the same crazy guy that Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Glenn (Steven Yeun) freed from a rail car that said, "We're the same, we're the same!"
The part of the "large man," as showrunner Scott M. Gimple called him, was played by Owen Harn, and was indeed the same man who was later devoured by walkers after his group invaded Terminus and was captured and held captive by Gareth's group. (Sorry, diehard comics fans, it's not Negan.)
"He's one of the dudes that took over Termius," executive producer and VFX guru Greg Nicotero tells The Hollywood Reporter.
"He is the guy who has been torturing them in the flashback; they've locked him up and he's been kept in there ever since they took the place," Lincoln says, noting the character "isn't a factor anymore" — at least in the present day.
Gimple tells THR that the character has a backstory with "a lot to the character," including a backstory and that the zombie drama may indeed reveal that the "large man's" group was connected to another band of crazies.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 5)
SpoilerThey said who he was during the Talking Dead.
That's the only reason I caught it.
Comic Spoilers, assuming what may be coming
SpoilerI feel like he'll probably in the Season Finale, maybe an episode or so before it. We still haven't even gotten to the other land development yet (I forgot the name) that Rick and the group find and "take over". I think we'll get there and spend most of the season in it with Jesus possibly making an appearance near the very, very end.--

I do, in fact, mean business because something big was spoiled in the past few seasons because people refuse to put a simple "COMICS" tag right before the spoiler. And like most on here, non-labelled spoilers are usually assumed to be directly related to the episode at hand.Comment

Your original post seemed directed at me and there was nothing in my post that deemed an ******* response as the one that you replied with.
My question was related to someone posting a spoiler with the picture of Morgan at the end of the episode. I seen no point in that being spoilered because it didn't give anything away.--

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 5)
For me if people are stupid enough to come into the thread before they watch the episode then they deserve it.
Comic spoilers are different and need to be spoiler tagged.Last edited by Candyman5; 10-14-2014, 11:41 AM.PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 5)
Did not notice a few things in Sundays episode. These were passed on throught the internet from the WD sTAFF..See if anyone else noticed these. I missed the first completely/......
1)Sam getting his throat slashed!!!!! The Sam we knew from Season 4 when carol and Rick stumbled upon him and Carol fixed his shoulder. That was Sam who was killed first. It explains why Rick was staring at him so hard.
2) the body on the prep table was Alex who in last seaons finale, took a bullet from one of the termites! Alex was also in the rail car in the last scene of this episode.
3) Morgan's character was more along the lines of not catching up with the group but seeing what path he has chosen to follow.
4) Rick telling the Termite leader about the bag. the Machete with the red handle, im going to use it to kill you. Remember this as alot of things said by his group usually happend or have a vast meaning. Carol telling lizzie last year to look at the flowers when she knifed her dads head and it reappeared again later.
Pretty interesting.atleast..Its not DelawareComment
