Re: ESPN & Shockwave Flash crashes
I had this problem for awhile, but got rid of it through some internet browsing.
ESPN doesn't work well with protected mode on Flash since the last couple of Firefox updates.
You can disable protected mode by doing the following:
1. Depending on your Windows version (32-bit or 64-bit) go to the following location:

(Windows 32bit) C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash

(Windows 64bit) C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash

2. In there you will see a file named mms.cfg. Make a copy of this if you want so you can have one that you edit and another that's just normal.
3. Add the line ProtectedMode=0 to the mms.cfg file and place it in the Flash folder.
4. ESPN should stop giving you trouble at this point. If not, check your graphics drivers and try disabling the hardware acceleration.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Re: ESPN & Shockwave Flash crashes
Thought it did it, but crashed again other than on the main page.
Addendum: it's funny..... I went back to the original file and now all flash players require I play it manually. Ahhhh.... going computering.... such fun.Last edited by daflyboys; 10-09-2014, 04:11 PM.Comment
