I agree with Matt. I loathe every Lance in the show and cringe every time they are on screen. Very clumsy and cliche acting/lines from them and I just can't stand laurel as a fighter and so called hero.

    Everything else I love though.

Glad I'm not the only one!

My wife tells me to shut up before I've even said anything every time Laurel jumps on the screen.

I will say I LOL'd when Captain Lance called Roy out...and all Roy could say..."Well...guess I don't need this anymore" *turns off voice disguiser device*...

I just think Laurel has WAY too much access in everyone's lives. Has a say in everything...and now I have to watch her clumsily fight.

Then Felicity, she has a say in everything as well, yet somehow makes it all about her.

      rant part 2 is </rant>

        Arrow Season 3

The dad isn't so bad but I hated Laurel for the last season and a half, she was more tolerable the 1st. Lately though it's not so bad to me

I understand it has to be built up, but some of it has really felt more like Dawson's Creek than it has Arrow to me.
          Wouldn't know. I never watched Dawson's Creek.

I'm with you guys with Laurel, she's awful. But I guess she's here for good so I gotta either get used to her or quit watching. I'll of course keep watching but she brings the show down a lot.

Am I the only one who hates Felicity now. I miss season 1, where it was dark and gritty and she provided comic relief with her quirky dialogue. Now she's an emotional train wreck in every episode and it brings the show down in my opinion. I've disliked Laurel since day one but she's become more tolerable. My opinion of Laurel and Felicity has reversed. Also, Diggle deserves a bigger role. He's one of the stronger actors on the show.

The show is just too melodramatic when the female characters are around. That's why I liked Sarah so much, she was tough and gritty without much drama. I like shows with strong women roles, Felicity used to be one, Laurel never has been, I hope the writers start going another direction.

I think the cast has come together well, but the cut in Diggle screen time is not a good thing.

I'm scratching my head over complaints of Felicity becoming weak and melodramatic. Because she has an opinion? Because she had issues with Ollie's new relationship with Merlyn?

For Felicity, it's hard to describe but it's just the feeling I come away with after her scenes. I guess I just preferred her when she was new to the team because I found her funnier and liked the scenes with her mixing in with the vigilante life. Felicity is still the moral compass of the team which I like, but she delivers her lines like she is holding back tears all the time. That doesn't make her weak, but its tiring to me. Going back to her Flash appearances, she was the Felicity I always liked.

I hear ya'. I like her character and think the show would be less with out her but only my opinion.

On a very trivial note I didn't know that Laura is the daughter of former pop star and Partridge Family guy David Cassidy.

My annoyance is that Felicity doesn't ask questions anymore, she just gives her thoughts and that's it. What other solution does Ollie have than to pair up with Merlyn and Thea? That's a question that the old Felicity would ask versus this guilt trip onslaught that she tends to make everyone feel around her, especially Ollie.

Co-sign that. This has ticked me off because it's a result of the increase in Laurel's screen time-Which has not helped me enjoy this season thus far. It's tough in a show like this to develop characters because they are constantly bringing in more characters which leads to someone being pushed to the side. I loved this show the most when just Diggle, Sarah, and Felicity were in on who The Arrow was. Still like this show...
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

Great to see Slade. I wish he will more involved in the future, he such a great character. Really good flash back scene too, a lot of good stuff when Oliver was creepin around and good to see Tommy too.

I think this is the first episode to not use an arrow at all.

Also Thea has been really great for the show. Didn't really like it her at first but now I can't wait to see more of her growth.
