Season 2 is off to a great start.

Anybody else been checking it out?

Yeah and I'm really hoping that season 2 has a little more polish which, so far so good. I don't know if I can ever take 50 Cent seriously as an actor but he has been fine too so far. I just still have a feeling that he's going to get more time in front of the camera this season and it won't be a good thing.

Yea I'm loving it so far. I have a feeling that Tommy will ruin everything.

I haven't hated a TV character as much as I hate Tommys girlfriend since Dexters wife. Just seeing her on screen makes me uncomfortable

I was worried Power would become the 50 Cent Show with his increased role in season 2, but that's not the case at all. In fact it has been a welcomed addition. I enjoy his character quite a bit.

Tommy and Ghost though, smh.

Me and my gf just binged watched the entire season 1 and caught up on season 2. We both like the show but there are a few things im not feeling.

For one, ghost wife is a conniving **. If you know your husband is this big time drug dealer, leave him alone and let him handle his business. There is no need to know what is going on. You are living the good life. Be a good housewife and take care of the kids. Play your role. And whats up with her not supporting ghost on trying to become legit? Once again, you have kids. Why would you want your husband taking penitentiary chances when he can make just as much money, if not more doing something legal?

Two, this holly character is dumb as rocks. How in the world does Tommy let himself get caught up with her but yet keeps warning ghost about Angela? He is probably the hardest character on the show, but gets manipulated by a no good theifing female. Then this airhead gets upset when she finds the money Tommy had stashed like she was led to believe that he was legit. Ummmm isn't that what turned her on to him in the first place? I would have thought she knew what he was into when he beat the guy up from the club in the alleyway then licked the blood off his hand. Being manipulated by 50 I can understand.

Third, Tommy and ghost are suppose to be so street smart, yet both of their downfall starts with *****.

I think looking at the history explains most of this...

Ghost has been in the game for as long as he's known his wife. I get the impression she has never fully been involved but was more Bonnie to his Clyde back in the day. Now that he's "big time" I don't think she realizes the magnitude of things since he (rightfully) has kept her out of it. So it makes sense that she's asking like she's still part of the business, but he only tells her so much.

Tommy knows Angela from when they were all in HS. If it was some random, he probably wouldn't even stick his nose in but he's probably trying to protect his boy from repeating a mistake he made before (not realizing it's much bigger of course).

As for either Tommy or Ghost seeming stupid with the women, that's been the downfall of man since the beginning of time.

I was really hoping A) that 50 Cent wouldn't ruin this show and B) there'd be a mic dropping moment to get the momentum going.

So far so good with 50. It's probably the perfect role for him, but with just about everything he does, I keep waiting for him to screw it up and he actually ends up doing a decent, if not good job. Gotta give him props.

As for B, Angela "popping the question" was the drop the mic moment for me. Can't wait to see how everything unfolds after that.

yeah.. when Kanan (50) and Tommy on the screen together i literally hold my breathe to see whats gonna happen next. its gonna be interesting to see who Tommy sides with.. but if i were Ghost, id cut Tommy lose and side with Angela.

because youve already heard Kanan make the remark "if a friend betrays you, you gotta cut him.." multiple times.. Tommy still having doubts bout Ghost and his involvement with the club and Angie. Kanan knows Tommy only good for strong man street stuff, but not a wise business man.. he saw that after the incident wit Rolla lil bro. Tommy was bout to give up til Kanan took over..

Thats what im trying to say. You cant be some of the haredest mofos alive, yet let some cat turn you into dummys. Usually when it come to kingpins, its either greed, or one of there soliders causing their downfall.

Then the show tries to justify each one of them going stupid over these chicks. Like Tommy's weird attraction to redheads, and the task force chick being Ghost's high school sweetheart, while his wife has been his day one ride or die. I can understand Shawn. He is young and naive. The other two are suppose to be to gamed for the crap they are falling for.

'm starting to understand the positives in Ghost continuing a relationship with Angela. Without it he would never know Tommy was under investigation. Smart play now is to keep Angela close for the time being.

We'll see if and when Ghost opens up to Tommy about all of it. Tommy already expressed issues with Ghost and Angela's relationship.

I don't know man. Women have been the weakness of men since the beginning of time. And this has played out in Movies, TV shows, books, poems and real life. Even Pachino's overly cautious character in Heat had it all figured out but was taken down bc of a woman.

I think you mean Deniro wwharton. In Heat DeNiro's ego and serious code of honor was his downfall not the woman. He could have had the girl and escaped but he chose to do one last thing out of his code that led to his plight.(I'm getting old so I may be confused..lol)


I don't think this show is bad but the way these guys are acting just doesn't make sense to me. How the hell did these guys manage to dodge prison for so long being this ignorant. I want to punch these guys in the head so much when watching them..lol. Like someone said earlier, Shawn gets a pass but Ghost and Tommy....nah man.. I think they may be pushing these relationships/storylines too fast because neither girl comes off as anyone I'd risk my life over. Don't know if this is the fault of the actors, the writers, or both.

Well I can't blame Ghost for his stupidity..Angela is hot, but Tommy's girl doesn't cut it for me.
