I just found that they're making a Peanuts movie. 3D animated movie. Its due out in November 2015. They even have a trailer for it. Here is the official movie webpage: www.peanutsmovie.com.

Its called "Peanuts". The old title is "Snoopy and Charlie Brown: A Peanuts Movie". Its being released on 11-06-2015. I think Christmas would be a better date though. I plan to see it. I have "Charlie Brown Christmas" on DVD.

I saw the trailer when it first came out. It's your typical teaser but it does show that they're going for a whimsical feel. As long as they don't water down the philosophical elements of Charlie Brown than I think this will be a pretty good adaptation. I believe Schultz's kids are involved in this as well.

I'll definitely be seeing this. About the release date, I think that's a pretty good date. The Snoopy float used to be a big element of the Macy's parade and one would think with this movie coming out they'll do something big involving Peanuts.

Yeah, they always have a giant Snoopy balloon in the parade every year.

I have alrease loved snoopy that is the best part of thee peanuts. The interesting thing is this moving is being made by blu sky studios the same studio that made the ice age movies and I love the ice age movies.

Childhood favorite in Peanuts, but like any remake of an old property, I'm hoping they can pull it off.

I too love the Ice Age movies. I am curious if they will go in same direction as the "Garfield" movie. I hope not. I'm hoping for something like "The Smurfs". I love that movie.

I love Peanuts and always wondered why there wasn't new stuff. Hearing "Linus & Lucy" puts me in a better mood everytime. Looking forward to this.

Those are great images, it really seems like they've got the visual look down cold. Now we wait for some real trailers to see how they capture the characters' personalities.
