As Heath Ledger demonstrated, it's all in how he's played, rather than what a single shot portrays. There's a lot to like in that photo though I think.\

This is from Superhero Feed. And it isn't like he's going to be shirtless the whole movie. They just wanted to show that this version can be a psychopath, compared to Ledger's anarchist and Nicholson's gangster. And also, as a bonus easter egg, I've read that the tattoo on his right bicep is a dead robin

I Like it. I like it a lot. I didn't want another Ledger type performance, I wanted something different. This is it. I can totally see Joker threatening someone to tattoo him then using the needle to kill the tattoo artist in some way

This could definitely work, I haven't been following much of Suicide Squad but is Harley Quinn in this? If so, this crazy psychopath version of the Joker is definitely one that would be able to corrupt her and make her go ga-ga for him. I'm glad that with the movies the last two iterations of the Joker have been wildly different than the classic portrayal. As long as some of the more wild and crazy stuff done in the movies doesn't seep too much into the comic books I can live with this as it's fresh and adds an added dimension to the character that fits in line with a guy who was dropped into a vat of acid and has totally lost his mind.
