Duffy has nine lives. What a trailer scene.
Any ambivalence about Boyd being anything other than scum was removed at the hospital.
Great series, and they're doing it justice in it's last season. Can't wait to see how it all turns out.Comment

Re: Justified - The Final Season (premieres 1/20)
My only complaint is that Vazquez has seen Raylon work many times throughout the series and he has always come through/been on the right side of the law. The way he has done a complete 180 and now thinks Raylon is dirty is beyond silly. Even Art, who suspects Raylon has done some shady things (including letting that mobster get hit) has to know Raylon well enough to know he is not gonna make off with the money. Hell, even Tim made a snide comment. I can see how they may not approve of his methods but how can any of them think at this point that he's on the take?
Seems like extra manufactured drama to me. Vazquez mentions Raymond tainting the case before by sleeping with Ava but he forgot all that Raylon helped him do the rest of the series. Seems like a real stretch, IMO.

Might have been the best season-great finale, great series.
They ended up giving us Raylon, Boyd, and Ava alive, but you never would have thought that at certain points in the episode.
Was I the only one that thought Raylon might have bought it?Comment

Yeah it was pretty safe but totally worth it for the Raylan/Boyd dialogue in the end."Maybe I can't win. But to beat me, he's going to have to kill me. And to kill me, he's gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me. And to do that, he's got to be willing to die himself. I don't know if he's ready to do that."Comment

Justified - The Final Season (premieres 1/20)
Obvious spoilers ahead:
Sure looked like Boone might have gotten him with a good clean headshot. Was glad he didn't.
Love that Ava got away. Thought Markham went out rather stupidly given how smart he had been all season. Thought the way they had Boyd go ultra-bad the last few episodes that they were setting him up to get killed as his just desserts, but I prefer him being in prison. Like it or not, he and Raylon are forever bonded. Love that he "found" religion again.
Glad that Art ultimately trusted Raylon, as he should have.
And of course, Wynn Duffy is still out there. Marvelous.
Also very honest that Raylon and Winona didn't end up together. Raylon would be one tough SOB to live with.
Great, seriously underrated show, fine conclusion.Last edited by Quint75; 04-15-2015, 10:47 AM.NCAA: Michigan Wolverines

Re: Justified - The Final Season (premieres 1/20)
I thought they handled everything perfectly. Being from Ky and growing up around coal, that line at very end was just spot on (not to mention The chemistry between those two is incredible).
The only thing else I could have wanted was to see a small scene where Vasquez gets crapped on. I didn't mind him through the rest of the series but he did a 180 this season.Comment

And you knew Wynn Duffy would land on his feet.
