This is how I feel cable/satellite will attempt to keep even a partial customer instead of no customer. This is a start imo; I want to get rid of my satellite so badly. Spending so much money each month for a whole lot of nothing.

This makes me very happy if they had a $20 sports channel package. Then I could spend the $20 on that and $10 on Hulu. $30 to $50 for TV is way better than the $130 I have been paying AND I'm with DISH currently!Last edited by Phobia; 01-06-2015, 12:36 PM. -

I wouldn't mind cutting the cord on cable as well. Are a lot of you all using Amazon Fire or Chromecast? We have three tv's, so I am just curious how people with multiple tv's are going about?Comment

What's your experience with each? App/device availability by itself puts NimbleTV at a pretty big disadvantage. They also don't support my providers.
NimbleTV plans start at $30, but it's not clear what the packages are or what channels are included unless you click through all the categories individually because the site won't show me anything else because it doesn't support my provider.
Not a lot of *** kicking going on at a glance, so what am I missing?Comment

Yes indeed.
I already don't pay for cable so I'm interested in this but wish it had AMC. At least for now AMC gets its programming onto netflix at some point.
Watching live sports on ESPN and TNT would be really nice.

Streaming live TV over the internet sounds like a great idea until your internet goes down randomly during the Super Bowl and you miss an hour and a half of the game.
Would be nice if it worked exactly like normal cable/satellite, but as of now there's no substitute for those as much as I'd love there to be.Comment
