Like with anythung else, it's a show, it's telling a story, not documenting actual events. I mean 50 years ago they'd have a wooden dragon and the audience would have to pretend it's flying.
Agree 100%. I didn't have any issue at all with the last scene. I really just excited that the Dragons and Dany part is getting exciting. Even in the books not a ton has happened. I really hope they work in Strong Belwas. I love that guy in the books.

This is mildly off topic but have any of you guys played the Telltale Game of Thrones game for the PC/Xbox/PS3or4? It's one of those episodic games that have been coming out recently (kinda like a game version of those Choose Your Own Adventure books). They do a Walking Dead game too. Anyways if you haven't it's pretty damn good. The story is solid and it can be intense like the show. I believe it's a 6 episode series with 4 currently out and 2 more still to come. It's like $25 for all 6 episodes. But yeah it's pretty cool. You should check it out.

Well you have to figure they had terrible source material to work with. In the books Mareen is pretty uneventful. If anything they have spoiled the fate of one character still alive in the books. Martin has said TWoW will open with two major battles, one in mareen and one in the north. (Not hardhome)

They butchered what source material they did have. The non source material is what I was talking about though. Just awful. They completely changed Stannis' character in the show as well. I can't wait for TWoW to be released because the show is a bad fanfic at this point imo.

I tend to give the show a pass. Harder to tell this story on a budget in 10 hours. Martin can write and add all these inconseqential characters and its now sweat off his back. I don't like some of the changes, but I learned around season 2 to try to enjoy it for what it is. Makes it all a little less bothersome.

Book reader here as well. I love the show. The wait between Sundays is super tough for me as it was with every other season.

I should of read the books first - I have them all - but its really difficult for me to picture characters I've never seen or heard of before now that I have visuals of the others.
