^Exactly. I kind of think Stannis is still alive as well.

Re: Game of Thrones: Season 5 (aka A Feast for Crows + A Dance with Dragons)
Could see Brienne and Stannis coming together in some kind of 'right the wrongs' crusade against a resurrected Jon Snow + red witch, making fans hate the show even more for making people choose between Snow and Brienne.
Brienne could offer Stannis a reprieve for his actions in exchange for vanquishing the magic that was coercing him, blah blah blah.
Also, did Theon and Sansa really jump from several stories.... into snow?Comment

Re: Game of Thrones: Season 5 (aka A Feast for Crows + A Dance with Dragons)
The whole Stark clan declaring war and Rob Stark vowing revenge on King's Landing was pointless once the red wedding took place. That's what this show does. It just seems too obvious that Jon Snow would be brought back to life that I don't see it happening. And I'm pretty sure it would have to be done almost immediately. How would Melisandre do that without anyone noticing?
By closing out a season with a major character's death, it would just seem cheezy to being him back to life the very next episode. I don't think the show would resort to that.Comment

Harrington is saying the producers told him he's dead. DEAD. I still think it's a massive red herring. Snow was the only character who gave a crap about the white walkers and the threat beyond the wall. The whole Stark clan declaring war and Rob Stark vowing revenge on King's Landing was pointless once the red wedding took place. Stannis was bleeding profusely from his leg. He was dying slowly anyways.Could see Brienne and Stannis coming together in some kind of 'right the wrongs' crusade against a resurrected Jon Snow + red witch, making fans hate the show even more for making people choose between Snow and Brienne.

He's dead. This isn't a Marvel movie.
Just rewatched the Cersei scene. I heard they used a body double for the full frontal scenes. The CGI is really good but you can tell that Cersei's face is transposed on someone else's body whenever they show her naked from the front. But if you're not looking for it then it looks like she did the scene herself.Comment

Re: Game of Thrones: Season 5 (aka A Feast for Crows + A Dance with Dragons)
And what good will it do him to be brought back to life? He's lost the Nights Watch and a relatively few wildings are left to support him. Stannis and his army is dead so its not like there's anything he can do by being resurrected.
Nice guys die on this show, it makes watching it infuriating but also unpredictable. It doesn't fit your classic "the good guys always prevail in the end."
And if the Whitewalkers are a true threat, then everyone in the North would have been expendable sooner or later as they marched further south.
Remember the White Walkers were in the very first scene of the show so you know they are the ultimate threat. Jon Snow would have been collateral damage eventually. I expect the Boltons will meet their demise against the White Walkers next after they climb the Wall and dispatch of the Nights Watch.Comment

IDK I just feel like between the book and the show there is a lot of stuff behind Jon Snow that makes his story not over. But hey, you're right, this is GOT's MO.And what good will it do him to be brought back to life? He's lost the Nights Watch and a relatively few wildings are left to support him. Stannis and his army is dead so its not like there's anything he can do by being resurrected.

Well, now that the Nights watch has killed him and if the Red Witch brings him back he is free to abandon his vows to the Nights Watch rally the northern lords that still despise the boltons and he can reclaim the North.....dun, dun, dun.And what good will it do him to be brought back to life? Re: Game of Thrones: Season 5 (aka A Feast for Crows + A Dance with Dragons)
This show is too draining to put my hopes and emotions into these characters anymore. They go out of their way to have the worst things happen to all these people. So now I laugh and roll my eyes when those things happen. I mean the emotional high point of the show was having little Arya gouge the eyes out of a pedophile then slit his throat. She subsequently went blind as a punishment. I mean really.Well, now that the Nights watch has killed him and if the Red Witch brings him back he is free to abandon his vows to the Nights Watch rally the northern lords that still despise the boltons and he can reclaim the North.....dun, dun, dun.

But to the quote by Rob, bringing back Jon Snow would be a complete joke imo. And it would be completely uncharacteristic of this work.Last edited by kingkilla56; 06-15-2015, 01:35 AM.Comment
