Hopefully the white walkers wreck them both, in sadistic ways.Comment

SpoilerSpecifically the compositing/shot choices after she mounts the dragon. It just looks off, which isn't something you can say very often for this show. Wife and I both mentioned it, right after she said 'she left them behind!' as Dany flew away and the credits rolled with a shot of the supporting cast standing in the arena slack-jawed at what they just witnessed.
Think this is going to be an increasingly popular opinion. Moral of the story seems to be that everyone is trash. We're going to rejoin Bran and find he's been controlling animals and raiding fringe wildling encampments and eating their children or something.Last edited by mestevo; 06-08-2015, 12:02 AM.Comment

Spoilering because it hasn't been talked about so specifically thus far.

Edit: I'll give him the finale, but if Jorah doesn't tell SOMEONE he has the grayscale, then please kill him next he is beyond selfish and while his persistance saves Dany, his lies will kill them all.Last edited by N51_rob; 06-08-2015, 12:20 AM.Moderator

I've seen people saying that GoT is going down hill, but man, I have massively enjoyed this season.University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

^^^That is precisely what I though when she climbed atop the dragon.
Stannis burning his daughter was brutal. Worst thing on the show for me by far, I think my wife is done watching after that.
The final scene with the Harpies and Dany and the dragon was horrible. Really poorly done scene when they had them surrounded. You have 100 harpies surrounded 10 people and they go at them 1 by 1.
Then the dragon comes in and instead of it seeming like some awesome beast, it was nearly killed with a few spears. So it looks like Dragons can/will be killed rather easily. So Dany flies away in some cheezy never ending story moment. And the rest of the people who were surrounded just magically survive. There were still a ton of the masked avengers around or there wouldn't have been any need for Dany to fly away.
Oh well it's been a good season so far with a few really cheezy moments and a few over the top brutal moments. Hopefully they show the battle of Winterfell next week and wrap up what Arya is trying to do. I would imagine they will focus a lot on Cercei as well.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

Wow is Stannis the worst father in TV show history? It was hard to listen to that scene with the screaming, but overall a very good episode.Comment

I mean I assumed it was going to happen, as the books seem to foreshadow it. But still. Stannis and his blind ambition can go to hell.HELLO BROOKYLN.

Only if they touch it.
Damn Stannis, I was starting to like you a bit. I had made myself forget that you had killed your brother (though let's be honest, Renley would've been a horrible king...just too soft of a person and the Tyrell's probably would've used him to advance their gains).
You have officially replaced Tywin Lannister as Father of the Year in Westeros...may even get the lifetime achievement award.Last edited by jasontoddwhitt; 06-08-2015, 10:40 AM.Comment

I mean, these guys were freaking ruthless just a few seconds ago, and now they start going one by one? If they all would have rushed, a few would have died, sure, but they would have easily overwhelmed the few who were protecting Dany.
But, whatever. Didn't ruin the episode for me.University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

That did annoy me. I thought GoT was above stuff like that.

I wonder if Arya will take the face of that young girl she helped die and put the screws to the pervert king's guard.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment
