    Re: Supergirl (CBS TV Series)

My biggest problem with the storyline is that even if she wants to make it on her own and this is "her" city, if there's a battle with kryptonians who are trying to destroy the world, she would most definitely call Superman for help.

Even worse, if she disappeared and couldn't be found for a few days, Jimmy would definitely call Superman too.

      Anybody else still watching this?

I didn't think Kara's sister could act at all but she almost pulled a tear out of my eye when she told Kara about Astra...really powerful scene.

I hope to see more office banter between Kara and the other assistant...maybe it's because I loved The Office back in the day but I love the awkard moments and some of the wit that can be had. I think Cat is gold, I want to see more of her and Kara.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

I hope that new assistant really is evil. Like she works for Maxwell Lord and is trying to take down Supergirl/her allies from within(like this episode for example, her and Winn).

And Lucy is annoying to me. James could do better.

Yeah, Alex's confession scene is probably my favorite scene of the series. David Harewood is doing a great job as J'onn/Hank. He needs to be in the show for as long as the series last.

We know that she has to be gotten out of the way because of Kara/James, but Lucy's actions and reactions to everything that has gone on have been completely logical and reasonable, IMO. If she stays on the show I hope they don't make her go bad, or do something petty, for the sake of drama, it be a total disservice to her character.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Given the development of this character, the fact she's Lois Lane's sister and the overall history of Lucy Lane I doubt it. She was pretty gracious in handling the Jimmy-Kara deal.

The show's good and I'm still watching.

I always thought she could act but she was so good in the scene you're describing it made Melissa Benoist's performance look impassive. In MB's defense they probably directed her in that corner because of Supergirl's initial anger at the news, tempered by her sister's heartfelt reaction among other things.

This episode was so good, one of the best for me. The fight between her and John was brief but awesome especially the way it came about, almost felt like a season finale.

That might have been the best episode yet, imo.

Loved tonight's episode as well had lot's of emotional moments. Loved the scene when kara breaks down to her sister realizing what she had done.

Man I almost caught the feels on that one and I never get emotional watching shows or movies. Only other time I came close was watching Warrior.

                          Without a doubt, man.

Best episode of the season by far. The entire dynamic of the cast has changed. I loved the heel turn as mentioned and actually like the additional plot to work out these "truths". Gosh, such a treat it was watching that episode...had to hold back a tear man -two straight episodes! Who knew a superhero TV show could elicit such manly emotion?

One side note: more Max, please!

Yep my fave as well this season. Melissa Benoist really is terrific as Supergirl as well as the rest of the cast.
