Re: Survivor 30 (15th anniversary): Worlds Apart

Really hated Joe getting voted out, really liked him and wanted him to win or at least go much further in the game. Mike is the only other one worth winning, Rodney's impressions were damn good and funny....that's all he's done that I've liked.

Wish Jenn would have voted for herself...that would have saved Joe and got her what she wanted and thrown a wrench in everything.

You can't actually vote for yourself I don't think....

Though even if she voted for herself, it'd make no difference. I'd be 5-5 tie and then since Jenn/Joe can't vote in re-vote,it'd be 5-3 and Joe goes.

Jenn just wants to leave cause she's a sore loser or something. The second her friend left, now she doesn't want to play the game. Cause she could've just not played the idol(and given it to Hali or Joe) and then she'd be voted out 2 tribals ago. Just another case of someone wanting to quit the game cause their friend got voted out and they realize they'll be going soon anyways,so they just want to take some sort of cheap way out.

So next week is going to boring ... or Jenn stays around and they start turning on each other.

I'm surprised Mike didn't bring Joe in. That would have been a great alliance. Mike still wouldn't have been the target with Joe still around, plus the idol.

Don't know average age of them, but majority are females. Sue,Fairplay and Jenna have legitimate reasons to quit though. Jenna specifically, has the most legitimate reason to quit that nobody could be upset over.

For the most part, it's just mentally weak people. People who just watch the show on tv and are like "Being on a tropical island for 39 days, getting to meet new people, and a shot at winning 1 million dollars while getting to be on tv...that sounds like fun!" But completely forget about surviving the elements,mental/physical fatigue, amount of downtime you have per day, among other things.

All these shows really, just seems like people being on it for wrong reasons. Amazing Race people just want to be on cause they can travel world for free. Big Brother, it's cause people get to live in a big fancy house while not having to pay for anything. Survivor it's getting to go to a tropical island and experience stuff people outside of locals of the island(s), would never experience

It's because they continue to cast people who want to be famous. The fact that most of these people don't do any research or preparation shows just how stupid most of them are. Look at the clothes they wear. I don't know if CBS picks stuff for them though.

I don't know how much time they have, but I know it's enough for some of the superfans to have practiced stuff.

A lot of them have no clue how to survive. Maybe they need to up the survivor difficulties like it was in earlier seasons to get these people to think twice about going on the show. They aren't even catching fish this season.

Maybe give them more food if they choose to survive without a shelter, if you sleep in the shelter you get very little. Go to exile and have meat, but you have to start your own fire and survive.

It's basically become Big brother outside and everyone on slop.

Re: Survivor 30 (15th anniversary): Worlds Apart

like I said in previous seasons... They need to charge people an audition fee to be on the show. Maybe like $1,000.

If you happen to stay until you're voted out and you don't quit, you can earn 5x as much for just staying in the game.

Quit early, and you lose the $1,000.

After Joe's statement last night, I wanted him to win, but sadly I knew he was out. I would never trust Shirin since all she is, is a fan of the show and over analyzes everything instead of sticking with the plan. She could have thrown the wrench in Mike's plan, but of course she didn't because she didn't want to be voted off next instead of 2-3 tribals from now.

Once again Will proves himself to be the biggest deadweight in Survivor history. How does one slide down a slide looking like a dead dolphin? It literally looked like he had no control of his body. lol

I'm slowly favoring Rodney. Maybe it's because the people I dislike is slowly outnumbering the people I like, but Rodney is playing a smart game. He's being patient in making moves, while trying really hard in challenges. Maybe it's because he's the only one mildly entertaining out of the entire group.

                BTW, Joe's necklace = $$$$

How great would it have been if Mike's name was on the chopping block, he played the idol, thinking it was real and he was safe, only to find out it was fake!

Yeah, if Mike didn't have the real idol, he'd have bought Joe's fake one. That was impressive.

Hated to see him go. I'm sure he'll be back in another season.

One of my favorite parts of the jury process. They go to Ponderosa.

I thought Mike should have kept the fake idol. He could have pawned it onto someone else. He 99% knew it was fake since he had Joe's real idol.

I don't get why he even played it to begin with. I thought the votes were gonna be tied(with Mike not voting for Joe) and after Mike finds out the idol is fake, then during the tiebreaker vote he'll just switch it and vote out Joe.

That was the plan wasn't it?

What an episode today! From start to finish it was crazy! Didn't even realize the intro of the show didn't happen yet until it actually played during the auction. And speaking of which...that was the best auction they've ever had in Survivor! First item......you're out of the auction, now go back to camp! 2nd last item.....Mike tries pulling a fast one on everyone, fails, and in the end Dan gets the advantage and it ends up being an extra vote at tribal!?!

What Will said regarding possibly hiding food is what he should've said.He even brought box out as proof that nothing else could even fit in it. Everything was right about what he said....EXCEPT every single thing he said to/about Shirin. I didn't mind Will calling out people and getting mad at them for thinking he would hide food, but after an attack like the one he did....don't care much for him anymore. Crossed the line big time there.

And you knew it was coming. The second Jeff said every last person had to agree with Wills request, you KNEW Shirin would be the one who prevented it.

And then at tribal, out of nowhere, suddenly every single person decides to abandon the plan of voting Carolyn and just goes and votes out Jenn....As much as I didn't like Jenn, her comments bashing some of the ppl were funny(especially at the end when they synced her post game comments with the vote reveal at tribal)

Mike has easily played the best game so far of the season. I actually can't think of anyone else who would be a fave if any combination of anyone else was in the final 3. Mike played best game so far,but it just feels like he might lose due to people just voting bitter. Mike,Shirin,Dan at this point prob should be the F3.

Finally they introduce some new and fresh strategic things. Best auction ever. It more fresh ideas like this, it's just way too predictable at times. I KNEW somebody would think Will kept something out of the box. I assumed they would think it was another immunity idol though not more food.

Dan's second extra vote may come up huge. If he doesn't wake up to the position he's in though he's gonna voted out with it in his pocket. I wonder what people think he bought though since he didn't get an advantage at the next challenge.

I do think (hope!) sooner or later Roddy is going to fly off the handle one too many times and piss off enough people to get voted out.

All the bickering and Will's unnecessary Shirin bashing shows how cranky and irritable people can get when they aren't eating well.

I knew she wasn't long for the game but I'll miss Jen. I liked her tell it how it is attitude. She was just too much honey badger and didn't give a ****. Partying at ponderosa with her bff is more important than winning survivor. Kinda sad. I think she could have gone far if she wanted.
