Tyler is creepy. He doesn't have the numbers though and he knows it. He will have to try to get everyone to turn on Dan or he is gone. Will does nothing, thinks nothing, just sits there. We will see how it plays out, but it would be great if Mike wins again.

Mike, Dan, Sierra vs Tyler, Carolyn, Will with Rodney who knows ... Dan's extra vote could be huge if Sierra joins them.
Every episode I like Rodney less. He's been an idiot from day one, and somehow he's not even a "dumb jock" because he's horrible at all challenges, physical or mental. And each week that he stays he gets more and more cocky and it's killing me.

I guess it'd be smart to have him or Will sitting next to you in the finale but if he wins this year, I don't think I'd ever watch another Survivor.

Yeah, he's nowhere athletic enough or mentally strong enough for "dumb jock"...

Reminds me more of an extra on the former MTV staple, "Jersey Shore"...

But the thing about Survivor though....If 1 season ends up being horrible/they have a horrible winner, the next season has no guarantee to be anything like that.

It's a positive or negative thing depending on how the prior season went. That's how I look at it. If one season sucks, I can still look forward to following season cause it'd be diff people and diff type of outcome.

One thing I forgot, how could Survivor just switch it up so 1 man and 1 woman wins immunity? That was terrible and screamed producer interference. There is a reason that Big Brother is not viewed the same as Survivor, don't go down this route. They already have some questions with challenges, but at least it is not obvious.

They did it cause it was a challenge of strength so it'd favor the men over women. So to make it fair, they gave each one immunity.

Which I still find stupid, cause when challenges favor females, they don't give the guys any sort of advantage. And there are many challenges that favor females over males(endurance/balance type challenges for example, where having smaller body(specifically feet) and/or lighter weight is an advantage)

Though I thought challenge would've been abit harder for guys since they've lost more weight than the females,so if it's percentage of body weight from the start, the guys would be having to hold up a much higher percentage based on their current weight, than the women.

Also,Jeff said they're making a big Survivor announcement after tomorrows episode. I'm 99% sure it'll be regarding the thing I posted in the spoiler tags a number of weeks back. Unless anyone has any problem with that,I guess we could talk about that topic starting tomorrow, without using spoiler tags, since it'd be an official announcement now and not just rumors/speculations from other sites.

Re: Survivor 30 (15th anniversary): Worlds Apart

                About tonight episode:
Carolyn is prob going to the finals, but she won't get 1 vote, and did 2 stupid moves today. Why not give Rodney the reward. At this point in the game, her doing so would make Rodney trust her so much, and seeing how Rodney doesn't trust/like really anyone, doing something like that would be HUGE.

And why didn't she keep Tyler? If her and Tyler voted Dan,it'd be 2 for Tyler(Sierra,Mike) and 2 for Dan(Carolyn,Tyler). Meaning then everyone else would have to decide.Tyler might have still gone, but would've at least gave him fighting chance if that was what they wanted.

                About next season:
It's what I thought it'd be(based on the rumors). Fans voting in the cast for next season. It's basically just people from past 5 years(10 seasons) with a FEW from the old school days. Some rumored names I was looking forward to AREN'T on there. As expected, some of the old school players look so diff! Kelly specifically(it's been 15 years!). Kimmi it's been 14 years but she looks the same. Jeff looks absolutely nothing like he did when he was on 14yrs ago. Maybe that played part in why they casted more recent people, cause fans would recognize/remember them more.

                10 females I'm voting:
                Ciera,Sabrina,Tasha,Kelly,Kimmi,Mikayla,Shirin,Abi-Marie,Monica,Peih-Gee

                10 males I'm voting for:
                Stephen,Jeff,Joe,Max,Mike,Troyzan,Brad,Vytas,Jerem y,Woo

Mike,Carolyn on the poll though...does that spoil this season? Don't tell me Will or Sierra is winning?!

As for next season, I might sit this one out. I generally don't find the returning players thing entertaining.

Unless it was a season where it's all people that got voted out first overall. I'd watch that for sure.

This time it'll be good cause it's the first time since all stars(over 10 years ago) that every single returning player hasn't returned before. That's why it's called "second chances", cause it's all their 2nd chance, and none(unless Mike or Carolyn win, which now seems like it might have been spoiled and they DON'T win) would have been winners(which has never happened before, cause even on all stars, they brought back some winners).

The list of guys to return are good though. Some with big potentials who got out earlier than they should've like Troyzan,Max,Brad,Vytas.

I don't find returning players entertaining and your argument is since they're all only returning for their first time it'll be good? That doesn't change one thing for me. Every single one of them is a return.

Part of the appeal of the shown for me is character discovery. Returns take that whole aspect out. Knowing everybody's MO from the get-go takes out a lot of the game.

It's amazing he still thinks he's a shot caller even though everyone sees him as a perfect stiff to drag into final 3. Even Jeff mentioned at tribal how evident it is the weakest players are allowed to stay. How classic was it to have Rodney forget to bring the bag of balls through the challenge, then throw a fit when he wasn't gifted a reward

But the thing is,what makes returning players interesting to watch is that players already know what to expect, so it's a diff gameplay from them when they return. No "getting to know the show" phase in it, people are ready from day 1 to play. It's not one of those "I'm happy to be on Survivor" attitudes, it'll be a "I'm returning because I want to win" attitude.

I'd say majority of players who've returned have played better game than in their original season. Sure there are standouts who did much worse returning(all star season for example, all past winners got voted out early just cause they won), but overall their return season is better.

Most recent returning players season for example....Tyson won it(3rd time back, better than his first 2). Monica,Gervase made finals. Laura made it fairly far. Sure people like Rupert,Candice didn't do good but Candice just returned cause she was an alternate, and Rupert only cared about having his wife getting the Survivor experience.

I laughed when before the reward challenge he basically said, I have total confidence that I'll get reward because I have 100% confidence in somebody taking me.

Not one inkling of a winning bone in his body.

Jeff knew it at the immunity challenge too, Zone in people and go to your happy place. Just concentrate on holding the rope. So Rodney, how ****ty do you feel today? Tell me about your feelings...

Again, I like that phase where everybody is feeling each other out. Take it out, the show loses entertainment for me. I hate how players think they already know what to expect from somebody else. No matter how many time you rephrase it, I still won't like it.
