. Is there a lightweight client in the vein of programs like MPC HC or Foobar(small and simple) or is mIRC still the best option?

Not sure if it would be the right forum, but since it's tech related, what IRC client does everyone use? Years ago I was used to mIRC, I can still remember the popup with the creators picture popping up on startup

Will look at Hexchat. mIRC still seems to be the standby, but not sure if they've kept it the same or they've bloated it like most older software, will look at it.Comment
