Re: 2015-2016 TV Season
Interested in:
Crowded because of Carrie Preston and Patrick Warburton. They play an empty nester couple suddenly invaded by their two daughters and Mike's (Warburton) parents.
The Family because of Joan Allen.
Limitless because of Jennifer Carpenter (Dexter)
DC's Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl definitely.Comment

Last season was catastrophically bad.
I just want good sitcoms. Is that so much to ask?Comment

Re: 2015-2016 TV Season
PROOF
Series Premiere Tuesday, June 16 at 10/9c
In Proof, Jennifer Beals plays Dr. Carolyn Tyler, a brilliant surgeon with a caustic edge. Carolyn has suffered the recent, devastating loss of her teenage son, the breakup of her marriage to Dr. Len Barliss (Sean Gleeson) and a growing estrangement from their daughter (Annie Thurman). But Carolyn's own trauma hasn't deterred her from her charitable outreaches, which include helping disaster victims in far-flung trouble spots throughout the world.
Despite her skeptical, hard-science attitude, Carolyn is persuaded by a cancer-stricken tech millionaire (Matthew Modine) to investigate cases of reincarnation, out-of-body experiences, hauntings and other supernatural phenomena. Her goal is to find verifiable proof to life's greatest questions: Is death truly the end, or is there something else beyond?
Helping – or sometimes hindering – Carolyn in her quest are her boss, Dr. Charles Russell (Joe Morton), the head of the hospital, and Peter Van Owen (Callum Blue), a best-selling author who claims to be psychic. Gathegi plays Zed, a hospital intern from the Sudan who assists Carolyn, and Kaplan plays Janel Ramsey, Turing's assistant.

So much **** on Tuesdays night won't get to watch it live and might not be able to DVR it because of all the shows I have taping. Will catch it at some point, though.Comment

Re: 2015-2016 TV Season
Anyone got any show recommendations? With it being September now, we're just a few weeks away from a number of shows starting. Within a 3-4 week period is when most of them will be back.
I'm sure people know the types of shows I like based on which threads I post in(and many prob find that to be a boring selection of shows).I don't like any of those medical shows, the drama/crime type stuff. So with that said, any shows people think I might be interested in of all new shows or even returning ones I might not have watched?
New ones I'm thinking of checking out:
Supergirl(CBS on Mondays starting November)
Muppets(ABC Tuesdays for the fall)
Grandfathered(FOX Tuesdays,starring John Stamos,Josh Peck,Christina Milian)
Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris(Tuesdays on NBC,I think it's just for the fall)
Uncle Buck(ABC Friday in Winter)
Truth Be Told(NBC Friday)
Returning ones I'm thinking about:
The Flash(CW Tuesdays)
Arrow(CW Wednesdays)
Wanted to check out the new Heroes show, but I never watched the original one,and 70+ hour long episodes in a month or so timespan is too much for me to do to catch up on the series.
lol, amount of new shows I'm thinking about seems like alot, but a number of shows last season I gave up on and/or it just ended,so a number of things I watched last season,I won't watch this year. The ones I do watch, seem to take 2 weeks off every 2-3 episodes aired. And with Leafs going through 100% tank mode in NHL,not really watching hockey as much.Last edited by Majingir; 09-01-2015, 11:04 AM.Comment

Re: 2015-2016 TV Season
Definitely Flash, amazing first season and its my favorite super hero show. (Close 2nd is Daredevil) Arrow took a dive for me in the last season but its worth it to follow both shows for the crossovers. If you haven't watched arrow, the first two seasons were great.Comment
