Getting a new smart thermometer and HVAC system, advice?
Our AC in our new house died, it's under warranty (from our home warranty that is) though, this is what we are being told they are replacing it with. The furnace is also being replaced due to how they work together.
They said they're going to redo the duct work and a concrete beam by the units inside and then install these units.
Below is the breakdown to the Condensing Unit & Evaporator Coil CCHS is offering for replacement; this equipment has been ordered and pending confirmation from Lennox Industries, Inc.
Condensing Unit – Lennox / Model # 13ACX-048-230 / Serial # 91W87 / 4.0 Ton / 13Seer / R-410A Refrigerant
Evaporator Coil – Lennox / Model # CX34-44/48C-6F / Serial # 20M75 / 4.0 Ton / A-Coil / Up -Flow
Also, want to get a new thermometer as well, something that's high tech and programmable. I'd like the Nest but it's a bit high for my budget and I've read some things about it are pretty wonky so looking for something more in the $100-$150 range.
