Re: General Hulu Thread
Just finished up season 1 and couldn't agree more, the Villanelle character is spectacular. The season finale was... weird, I'm not really buying into everything but the characters are so good it doesn't matterI liked it mostly for the performances of Sandra Oh (Eve) and Jodie Comer (Villanelle). The latter's character is one of the most charismatic I've ever seen. You're actually charmed by a psychopath.
I thought the two leads were a bit better than the script and I can't put my finger on why. That being said I watched every episode almost immediately when it aired on BBC America. I'm looking forward to the spring season two debut.
I want to see more of Jodie Comer.
One line I laughed at more than I should've:
Man begging for life: Please! I have money!
Villanelle: I have money too
Man: Please! I have children!
Villanelle: I don't want your childrenWolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Re: General Hulu Thread
So , having a lot of extra time these days I decided to check out a little show called Letter Kenny. First couple episodes I was thinking man this is a very stupid show , but I gave it a few more episode and suddenly although still stupid I found myself starting to like these strange people and found myself fascinated by their ridiculous conversations. I can confirm I really like it and finished season 8 last night , I want more. Pitter Patter.....Comment

We went through the Wu-Tang Saga last week. Pretty good. Not sure it really adds anything if you're a fan, but I thought all the music moments were done really well and the buildup to them makes them rewarding.

Re: General Hulu Thread
just to take a moment from the Netflix thread and bring it over, I've been excited to finally watch The Americans, and now the FX shows are available on Hulu, so I have my chance!
I even remember an NBC show that was pretty much the same setup, starring Katherine Heigl, I can't remember the name of the show, but I thought it was great. It got cancelled pretty quick. So, I'm thinking the real deal must be pretty damn good

The Americans is fantastic. Certainly slow in spots, but I loved the whole series.

Ya, this has had quite its own little following and there's a lot of merchandise with a lot of the catch phrases ... got a t-shirt myself. So , having a lot of extra time these days I decided to check out a little show called Letter Kenny. I thought it fell off and lost originality after the first 3 seasons. But the content in those first 3 seasons is stupid humor magic, though there are some parts with intelligent comedy like the opening to season 3:

Re: General Hulu Thread
Actually worth the $6 I pay. Dropped Prime and Netflix any OTA stuff I want to see is on the NBC or ABC app if it is not on Hulu.Comment

You're in for a treat. One of my favorite shows of all time and wow did they stick the landing for its finish. Still gives me chills thinking about it.just to take a moment from the Netflix thread and bring it over, I've been excited to finally watch The Americans, and now the FX shows are available on Hulu, so I have my chance!
