    The X-Files

Since it has officially started filming I thought I'd make a new thread. Also here's some pics from the production.

I can't wait. I do wish it was more than 6 episodes but I will take what I can get.

Yeah maybe they'll get more in the future depending on how well it does. I watched every episode back when it originally aired & still have the merchandise I collected. Really excited it's back. "Trust no one deny everything"

Started watching the original for the first time ever. I hope they keep the feel of the old show. Kinda of slow, but quick at the same time. X Files and The Wire are the same in that aspect.

Maybe we'll get that movie that will wrap up the series that was discussed for years. Speaking of merchandise I found a Mulder t-shirt while in Gatlinburg last year. First one I had ever seen in a store. I snapped it up pretty quickly.

I have trading card set, tv guides, t-shirt, mug, posters, also used to tape the show on vhs. I really hope for a blu-ray release of the series this year or early next. I'm also glad they are filming the revival back in vancouver which is where it had it's best years.

I'm very jealous right now. That sounds like a really great memorabilia collection you have.

I gotta go back and watch the series finale from the first series, as what I remember makes me wonder how they are coming back....but maybe the years have made me forget what actually happened.

Fox to show every episode of the X-Files one a day leading up to the premiere of the new series. <iframe width="720" height="440" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/JoIRNja8pMc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I know that isn't much for a teaser but I love it anyway. January seems too far away.

It is really eerie how similar the resemblance of Gillian Anderson and Vera Farmiga is. At certain angles they look identical.

It's quick but effective & does what it intended to do leaves you wanting more. I can't wait as well.
