Compared to the book, the TV series ending was horrid. Even if you don't want to read all three, at least just read the last book, it picks up where the final episode started. Some things are different, but it's easy to figure out (I only read the last book and I wasn't lost at all).

Re: Wayward Pines
I loved the ending until the last minute or 2. Seriously, you jump forward in time and don't show us anything? How in the world did a few students, with hardly any females, going to take over and now run the town. Plus the security forces were with the other group.
I would love another season.Comment

Re: Wayward Pines
I don't care what anyone says about the season/series, Myself and the GF were entertained and very into this show.
Even the last episode, which I assumed would be all action because of the Abbies, had some good story/plot development in regards to the future of the town. I actually did like the way it ended, however I do wish we knew what happened to people like Pam and Ben's mom.
But to have it come full circle is kind of a good series ending point, with no real reason to keep it going. ESPECIALLY if it ends up ruining the 10 episodes they did have.Charger Fan Born and Raised!
