Skype help

Hey all,
I'm way behind the times here, I know, but am looking for some help on a Skype chat I have next week.

I have a laptop and iPad2 that each have a built in camera. Which would be best to use? Laptop since I can hardline my internet connection?

Also have a question about the headset. If I use the iPad, can I just plug the headset in to the headphone jack? Everything I read mentions Bluetooth.

The only headset I have is this

Would that work or should I buy something else?

Thanks in advance and sorry if these questions are silly. I'm not good with this stuff and want to make sure I don't mess it up.

Just install Skype on both and make a test call in the audio options to see which one works best for you. You can also adjust your video settings in each to see which camera works better.
